Thought I would give an update on my set up. I lifted the rear 2” using icon rear springs and a 1/2 spacer from McBay performance. I intended to lift the front 3 1/2” using the Bilstein’s at #5 (1.7”) and a 2” (actual size was 1 3/4”) top hat from Tuff Country. This setting actually lifted the...
So far so good, no complaints. My only issue is it’s nose high. Icons supposed to raise it 1.5 inches and I added a half inch rear spacer. So.... 2 inches right?? Then I set Bilstein 5100 at #5 (1.7”) and added a 2” Tuff Country Top hat (actual height 1.75”) so 3.45” in the front right? Front...
My truck sits that way as well. My left sits 1/2 lower than my right side and front to back is different on both sides. Thought I would get that worked out after installing new Bilstein 5100 in the front and rear icon springs and 5160 shocks but nope. Truck still leaning
Ok Folks, here’s what I have and the issue I’m having.
Front
Bilstein 5100 setting #5 = 1.7”
Tuff Country top hat spacer = 1.75
Tuff Country Uniball UCA
This should equal 3.45” front lift
Rear
Icon Rear springs, add 1.5” to the rear
1/2 spacer
This should equal 2” rear lift
with the current...
I planned on getting the alignment, my question is, does it matter what wheels and tires I have on it when I get it done? My stock +19 mm offset on 20” wheels and stock tires or -57 offset, 22x12 wheels?
That's with the 2" spring spacer in the rear correct? Any Rake or is it level? I'm only going up 1.5 in the rear with the ICON springs so I may have to go setting #3 up front. If you have a 1/2 inch of rake I can go with #4.
I'm planning the same. Already have the 5100s and the 5160s and the tuff country 2" leveling kit with roller ball upper control arms but I'm still waiting on the rear ICON springs (Back Order). I'm still trying to figure out the math and what setting I want my front 5100s set at to get the 3.5...
Fairly new to the forum. I've read a lot of posts regarding lifts, tires, exhausts and all the other crap I plan on doing to my truck. This discussion is primarily about lifts. I currently have a 2019 RAM 1500 Bighorn and I am planning to have a 3.5" lift installed, but I'm still debating on how...
