The 2nd time it died and was towed in, the service rep stated the battery tested fine, and they couldn't authorize any battery replacement under warranty. They said I should just start it every day or so. I asked them if someone from the dealership would swing by to start it if I was out of...
Sadly, I recently sold mine for similar issues. The 3rd time it was dead, the dealer told me it could possibly be my microwave activating a module. After I asked if I should get rid of my microwave and they were no further assistance, it was time to move on.
I sold it outright because it was our 3rd vehicle., rarely used, and problematic. I also have a '17 Tahoe with 36k miles, and I've never had one issue with it to date. Good luck to all.
Through all of the issues with warm A/C where the compressor, temp. sensor, and refrigerant were replaced with no discernible difference, the vibrations above 70 mph where several Hunter balances never fully eliminated the issue, and being left for dead in my garage 3 times where it was towed to...
As my premier dealer said: "you should start it every day or so, or your microwave could be activating a module". Solution: cancel all electric service and hire someone to swing by and start it on schedule. Nonense.
It didn't lock into any mode. During each of the 3 examples, the battery was completely dead. So dead that the overhead lights didn't even illuminate with a door open.
They didn't say it wasn't covered. They stated they could find no reason to replace it under warranty as the battery was holding a charge when they diagnosed the truck.
No. The 2nd time since the battery tested good after it was towed in, they said they couldn't cover a battery under warranty. That's when they told me to start it every day or so.
After charging for 4 hours to 100%, the truck starts, but after 15+ mins of driving, still no backup camera and radio settings were wrong. It'll be going in tomorrow for the 3rd attempt at a diagnosis and repair provided it starts in the morning, and my kids don't cook Ramen in the microwave...
Lo and behold, today was the 3rd time it sat dead in the garage after 3 days. I was able to jump it, but after driving for 10-15 mins, the screen, backup camera, nor climate controls wouldn't work. I called the same dealer and asked if I could drop it off and get a loaner to get back home. He...
I'll try it. Thanks. I'm also going to pull it out of the garage to the far side of my driveway whenever my boys want to heat Ramen in the microwave. ;-)

The dealer told me it shouldn't sit in my garage for 4-5 days, and I should start it every other day to ensure it stays charged. My response was "Will someone swing by and start it if I'm on vacation?". After they stated nothing could be done with the battery under warranty, I asked "What...
So the dealer called and said the only code they saw was for a drained battery but they couldn't explain what would completely drain it after 4 days. Although this is the 2nd time it happened, they told me the only remedy at this point is to start it every other day for 10 mins or so. After I...
