Hi All, I am posting this for a friend that works for tread lightly. I will be joining the clean up and wanted to see if anyone here has interest. The Bit.ly link does not work currently so please email [email protected] in the meantime. I will update the thread as soon as it is working.

    Creaking Brake Pedal

I had the same issue when I first bought the truck. It took me multiple visits to convince the dealership that it is not the shifter lock actuator and that it is coming from the brake pedal. In the end they replaced the rubber boot and it corrected the issue. I can see if I have the receipt...

    Bed mats. Whatcha got?

I have Line-x bed liner and it was making holes in some of the bags and other stuff that is in the bed on some of my trips. Got a husky liner and it keeps things from moving and no issues. Love it and the price as well.

    DIY 4 Wheel Inflator / Deflator w/instructions

I recently had the original chuck from my VIAIR 400P wear out and no longer stay on while inflating and looked for a replacement which was close to $40. As I was looking at the different replacements, I asked myself, self, can you build something that would work better? Also, looked at some of...

    portable compressors, Viair 400P

I know several people with the Smittybilt unit and they seem to be good. They are a bit bulky in my opinion. I have had my 400P for 7 years now and it is still as good as the first day.

Yes, he had a set of the aluminum forged ones on a display and I asked about them and he asked how I intended on using the truck and then said based on my usage that I should avoid.

    Price Increases on UCAs

I would definitely stay away from the RC brand, was talking to a sales guy at dessert rat off-road and he gave me a few horror stories he has seen with them. The JBA ones that @Ram1500rsm posted also seem interesting but I am not familiar with them at all.

    Price Increases on UCAs

@Ram1500rsm : Thank you for the information, it is helpful and I continued to look around but now including 4th gen, wasn't aware they are the same, and there is significantly more options. In the end I called Icon and they honored the price that was on the website last week of $849 delivered.

    Price Increases on UCAs

I am currently in the market for UCA. I started to piece together the suspension after reading quite a bit of others experience on here. While shopping, I noticed that Icon and Total Chaos do things at the same time, when I started looking they were both selling UCA at around $750-$775 and...

Let's see those running boards/side steps

This is when I first put them on. They are not sliders but they have saved the sills several times already. Changed from stock and I think they look much better. Westin Outlaw

    Cleanup after hitting the trails

Here is what I do when I get back from a trip. Exterior: Step 1: I first hit everything with a 20 degree tip on the pressure washer with water to remove the first layer. Step 2: Then hit it with the foam cannon (Do not recall where I got this). Step 3: Once there are suds everywhere, use...
