Getting fascia to release took elbow grease and a lot of tries, but in the end not too bad. For the life of me I just could not get the last fascia clip (at the point where it meets the grill) to release. In the end I just had to yank it and break the clip lol
Just got a pedal commander after having the same experience with the Pulsar. Can’t say enough good things about the PC... feels every bit as juicy as the Pulsar, if not quicker in Sport+ mode.
Pulsar HP gain claims are based on some pretty thin evidence ( ). After trying both PC and Pulsar...
Just posted this in another similar thread for the same issue, so thought I’d post it here as well.
Advice for anyone with the left curve sticky steering issue:
You need a new steering rack.
Had this exact issue, fought like hell to get it replaced under warrantee, problem is now 100% gone...
You need a new steering rack. Had this exact issue, fought like hell to get it replaced under warrantee, problem is now 100% gone. The TSB about “steering clunk” (#?) is the one I highlighted, however my truck was not in the date range. Message @RamCares here on the forum and wait for a case...
Psi depends on tire size and load rating. Toyo has good info on size/psi on their website https://www.toyotires.com/tires-101/tire-load-and-inflation-tables
Same exact thing, except I also got a second Pulsar unit shipped from edge claiming they identified the issue and fixed it. Total BS, second unit malfunctioned the same way. Ground was in contact with PCM, so that’s not the issue. After all that they refused a refund.
Pulsar is a crap product...
Good eye. He added lift spindles later on so I figured that’s when the cv axels went bye bye, but I guess it started out 2wd(?). I didn’t realize there was even a 2wd Rebel option.
SAME. It’s a time bomb. Anyone with a Pulsar please keep a socket set and the OEM pcm bolts in the truck in case it puts you in limp mode on the side of the highway. Pull off the Pulsar and restart you should be good to go
FYI - Highly, highly recommend the topper ez lift system over an RTT. Less setup, less weight, more secure, sleep on an actual mattress. Push a button and it all closes up and goes away. Have a look at them (y).
Icon is hoping to have a kit for the 5th gen Ram 1500 available by end of year. A pre-production kit was installed on Scummy Morisson’s Rebel by Go Big Trucks in Ventura. UCA is tube with urathane bushings on that pre-prod kit... hoping a billet/Heim joint version becomes available also.
Nope. No word on king either.
Icon is about to release a kit. There’s a pre-production version on Scummy Morisson’s Rebel built by Go Big Trucks in Ventura CA. Hopefully by xmas.
Haven’t run them but strongly considering for the the next phase. The guys at Expedition Offroad run them hard in Baja and have very good things to say:
