Any body run Falken Wild Peak AT3 tires before? They seem pretty good from the reviews and prices aren’t bad. 1540856777840.png

Had them on my old tundra, had 34.5 lol. But minimal noise, and good wear. Had 40k on them when I traded in my truck for the Ram. Really liked them

I had them on my F150 in 275/70R18. Great value and performed great. Looked really good (aggressive) in person, too.

I had them a couple of times and were awesome. Great balance of price, minimum noise, and aggressive looks.

Just be aware the tires you get from the off-road package are not the same as the falken retail site. The ORP tires are NOT heavy snow rated. Not sure what else is different. But other then that I am happy with them, granted I only have 1056 miles on them. But who’s counting :ROFLMAO:

I had them on my 2003 RAM 4x4. They grip great, were very good at preventing Aquaplaning, handle well, and look great. They are 10 ply tires; but not quite as harsh as Terra Grapplers that I had before. I will be getting either Wildpeaks or Cooper AT3 XLTs when I do mine.

Is there a high risk running 275/60R20 Falken Wildpeak AT3W (115 max load rating) on my Big Horn 4x4 with standard suspension? Stock tires it came with are Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude HT (116 max load rating). Someone on this forum has done it before and mentioned his Ram came with Bridgestone Dueler (114 max load rating). Was looking to purchase, but the tire specialist advised against it because of the decrease in max load from my factory tires. Won't be towing anything or hauling much.

I've heard lots of good things about the Falken Wildpeak AT3W and am definitely considering them. The other one I'm interested in is the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT. It will be one of these two for sure. How do you think the 2 compare? Does one have an edge over the other?

I drive mostly on road but some relatively light off road for training dogs, hunting, fishing, beach, etc. Thanks for your thoughts.

Both great tires. The Falkens are probably a little cheaper than the Coopers. The Falkens weigh around five pounds more than the Coopers. The Falkens are Severe Snow rated...not sure the Coopers are. I'm still torn between those two.
I did see also that Hankook just released the Dynapro AT2; so I might wait and see how reviews are on those as well. My truck isn't going to be an offroading machine either; so I don't want to go overly agressive on tires and sacrifice comfort.

One other thing I see - in my tire size (275/55R20) the Falkens are not available in an LT size. So load range XL for Falkens and E for Coopers.
