Yeah I am having all the same issues also. I just got the new update on mine and carplay stopped working along with issues with phone calls. I have noticed some issues with the temperature here recently but will focus on that later. I had it at the dealership for the first oil change a few days...
Had my screen replaced at the dealership and it fixed all the issues. So far everything is functioning how it is supposed to. I’ve got a month on it right now with no issues.
So I just received my demo and was supposed to get a new 12” screen in today. Turns out it never got delivered.... I managed to fix the siriusxm guardian issue that they thought was the reason why I needed a new screen. UConnect seems a little lost in communicating with the dealer on this. So...
In my case, both my SiriusXM and Traffic are grayed out.. So it doesn't even detect it. I know it is hard to see, but it is not selectable.
Soft Reset doesn't work.
Pulled the Terminals off the battery and let it sit a couple of hours. It went through and rebuilt the list and still never came...
@ddharris mine is going in tomorrow to get it replaced. They already got it. Mine is only a week old so they said they may just get me a new truck. We shall see.
Yeah I was able to fix all my issues except the nav and SiriusXM. It still shows grayed out on my truck. The issue with nav has to be it her be the software or the telematics. The telematics is what connects them all together. I tried disconnecting it but no luck. Tried pulling the fuse and...
Mine did it to me yesterday. Nothing would work from the hub, but the console would work. Checked it this morning and they start working. Heat sounds like the cause.
We are all having this issue with our new 2019 Ram's. The software on the Uconnect 12.1 is flawed and causing all sorts of odd issues. Please see my post for updates on bugs as I am working with Uconnect and FCA corporate to get this resolved.
So I wrote an email to the CEO of Chrysler Mike Manley yesterday regarding all of these issues and someone from Chrysler called me this morning wanting more information. No Joke. I wrote it out of frustration and someone actually called to discuss this further and wanted to gather information...
@pgienger, Sounds like you are having very similar issues also as well. NAV seems to be the biggest concern right now as it is creating most of the issues since a lot of it piggy backs off of it.

See if that helps out at all.
Well ****. Maybe I should return it. I have another appointment with them tomorrow morning because they couldn’t even do a diagnostic yesterday due to issues with Star and what ever they use in the service department because it wasn’t communicating. We will see what comes out of it tomorrow as I...
The dealer couldn't figure out how to do a factory reset. As far as SiriusXM, it was activated when I left. Then somehow became unactivated and now it won't re-activate. You can't send a new signal to it because you can't select SiriusXM until you activate. It won't activate so here I am seeing...
No problem! Now if I could get my truck's Uconnect system to function it would be even better. My NAV thinks I am building a wall in the NORTH! Not even close.
A lot of that should change when IOS 13 comes out as it has added some new features around Carplay.
-New Dashboard
-Updated Maps (Thank god)
-New settings ap
-New Calendar App (Access your calendar from the screen)
-Siri does navigation and 3rd party support...
