I was all over this thread, trying to look for a swap. I hated my RIGHT tow mirror! I watched some YouTube’s on how people adjusted theirs. I found a spot I had confidence in and now I actually love them.
Welcome from CO. Personally, I stay away from warranties that are sold by a dealer. It tends to really limit your options.
I bought the Ram warranty. Mainly due to all the electronics on the truck.
Yes, if it were me, I would cancel and go with the Ram warranty.

I bought this and it’s been fantastic. Very easy to use. I’d suggest spending a bit of money and buying something better.
These long waits seem to be more common than they should be. Sorry this is going on. I agree, right now you’re better off just checking in and seeing if there is any progress. Going off on the dealer at this point probably will do more harm than good.
I’m probably ignorant on this subject but it has to go somewhere and you’re not seeing it. Wouldn’t that mean it’s entering the crank case and wouldn’t your oil look cloudy and the levels be high?
I wanted to run mine up too. Much easier to see. But, I guess it’s not cool and it really does look bad IMO on the 1500. But, seeing trumps both of those things so if it works better, do it.
Yes. On both sides I adjust my main mirror so that if I lean over just a bit I can see the rear of my Ram. Then I adjust the convex to pick up right at the same point.
With this set up I have found that if there was a vehicle there it will be in one of the mirrors.
What was jacking me up was...
I, somehow have got used to the tow mirrors. I hated the passenger mirror and adjusted non stop the first month. I finally have them where I want them and will keep them for their versatility.
Thanks to this thread I just swapped the 4 door speakers on my HK system. Very nice improvement. I’ll probably keep swapping. The “HK” speakers were pure ****. I couldn’t believe how light they were.
I feel bad for you. I came from a 17 Tundra that was dead solid. Not a ton of tech in it. I didn’t like the new Tundra so I went Ram. So far so good and I love the truck except for the stupid rotary shifter.
I hate that feature.
Good luck and keep us posted.
