So, my bighorn did not originally have tilt in reverse option for mirrors, because I dont have driver memory stuff.
But I enabled the tilt in reverse options and now have tilt in reverse. However, this was years ago and I've had it disabled because they drop way too much.
Just discovered in...
on the UC4, you can open the back of the radio and unplug+remove the module. its screwed to the case and acts like a heatsink. problem is, the board also does GPS, so if you unplug it, you'll loose built in GPS as well. Haven't disected further to see if you could possibly just remove the SIM...
would definitely work. but if thats all your after, you can just get a fob for your truck that has the tailgate button. no extra wiring/work necessary. but for $15 and a little work, yeah can't really beat that.
I'm on 36.9 also but I did my last update from a usb. I thought maybe I "broke the cycle" by doing a usb update, but I guess not since it seems the error 20 is happening to lots of vehicles.
mine has been failing also. I'm on version 39.6 currently, and that had to be done with a thumb drive. I wish I could just turn off the auto updates at this point
just did the mopar ram air one, and I really like it. sounds awesome when you get on it, seemed to help mpg as well. no annoying hissing/sucking noise at idle.
also will note that I did make some can-bus logs while using Autel tools to read pin and learn fob, and sent the logs over to the J-scan developer. Said he would take a look.
yes the Autel tools are confirmed to work. the 508 and the KM100. The topdon ninja as well.

I will also confirm that I tried 2 different Launch X431 tools, and they did *not* work. This was on chrysler/dodge v37 software. confirmed with tech support it is not supported with those...
I did mine, ordered mopar parts (not thru infotainment) but from just mopar parts. mirrors, switch, and you need left and right door modules, because yours will not have power outputs for motors. then, once installed, you need jscan or alfaobd to enable them. its straightforward, plug and...
I'll confirm on my 5th gen 1500, have not been able to read pin using jscan yet; however, I did successfully program a key, offline, using an autel km100. was able to read a 4 digit pin, and that worked for programing. it takes some time, so it really makes me wonder if "reading" is just a...
