Maybe the Kevlar ones are different, but I was referring to the stock Rebel Wrangler tires. They are fine and great in the dry and warm, but once the temp drops, they're like stones.

Those tires are OK when new but as soon as I got some mileage on them, and the temp dropped to sub 10 degrees Celsius and wet? BRUTAL. Could not leave a light or stop sign without spinning the back tires. That said, I bought some Cooper Discoverer M+S and haven't looked back that I sawp on...

Unfortunately, there is no AT tire that is good in snow. Snow tires are good in snow.

Thanks mate, I'll keep an eye out for that second letter. I didn't even realize until looking into this thread that they actually ground right through the mat. Unbelievable......nothing like buying liners only to now have salt creeping into the carpet
