Yikes. Mine should be 7ft, but it measures 6'10". But the driveway is tilted away, so it increases my clearance a bit. I measure about 5" of clearance from the shark fin. Not much room if you're getting 6 inches of lift over mine. So I figure if I swap out the ORP springs with the stock...
Excellent. Thanks. The truck looks great and this is very helpful. I'd love to do this, I'm just not sure if it'll fit in my garage. I've actually cosnidered swapping out my ORP front springs for the standard springs to leave a little more rake for when I go camping. Kind of the opposite of...
I thought about it some more. I guess it's closer than I thought. I re-measured. I have no lift other that the ORP. I'm at almost exactly 37 in front and 39 in the back. I would've guessed you'd be closer to 42.5 in both the front and the back. 37+4+1.5 and 39+2+1.5 is my math. Just...
I assume you mean top of the fender opening? I've got a Laramie with the ORP, you're talking about 4" taller in the rear than I have and over 5 inches taller in the front. Seems like a lot more than I would've guessed.
Is the Carli kit even available? When I look on line, I can't find it. If so, what's the price? I have the ORP, so I'm not super pumped about 1/4 inch of lift in the back over stock. Plus 1.5 inches in front? I do use my truck off road and would like to find something that is truly designed...
What I find interesting is that they show this available for the either the 2019 or the 2020 Ram 1500, but it shows the 4" and 6" lifts only available for the 2019 Ram 1500.
Thank you. Good point. I had thought about that, but kind of forgot to take that into account. I also wasn't sure if it was 3" taller than standard or 3" taller than an ORP since they say the same thing on the lift for the Rebel and it's all the same parts. This also means that the non-ORP...
I do find it interesting that you're at that height. I believe someone else said they're at 6'10" (within a 1/2 inch of yours) with this kit (I assume he must have different tires/springs etc). The factory specs put the base model at 77.5". I have the ORP and measured mine out at 78.5" with...
I've been looking for the same data for the same reason. But I was thinking that I really only need the measurements to the bottom of the wheel wells. Then I can see how much different it is from what I have to start with. I know how much room I have between the shark fin and the garage beam...
Has anyone installed this kit?
I'm curious about it. I have limited space above my ORP truck to fit it in my garage and I think these might work. But I think the Fabtech description might be a little misleading. It lists 3 inch lifts for both the Rebel and the standard 1500, but if you're...
I would add that Readylift says 295/65-20x9 +18 offset fits our trucks with that lift. 295/65-20s work out to 35.1x11.6 inches. Seems like your setup would work.
