Will the Uconnect 8.4 play music from a usb flash drive. I'm thinking I don't want to deal with Pandora and the likes. I'd rather have my cds copied to a flash drive and just have a few of them with me if that will work. Thanks
On my first tank of gas, ( 2021 ), I drove almost exactly 50% freeway and 50% in town. My mpg were 13.8. No loads or towing. I can't imagine what it would be towing. Is this normal for the Hemi? Thanks
Yes it's on, and constantly on around town every single time I take my foot off the gas as mentioned above. I normally shut it off with the gear selector on the steering wheel. Just thought I'd take advantage of it while on the freeway.
I had to drive about 100 miles on the freeway recently so I decided to leave the MDS/ECO mode on to save on gas. I was using the cruise control set at 74 and noticed the eco light not coming on. Tried at 70, 65, 60 and finally it came on at 55mph. Are the speeds above 55 to much acceleration...
After I disconnected the cable and closing the Android Auto I noticed the phone was still lit, so I made a call using verbal commands and it worked. I tried to bring AA back up without the cable and no go. I shut everything off and then rebooted the phone and turned truck to ACC and it was...
I got Android Auto to function on the 8.4. When done I disconnected from Uconnect and turned everything off. Then I tried again to see if my phone was recognized, but it wasn't and prompts wanted me to start the whole process again. How do I get my phone to load Android Auto automatically...
In my 21 Bighorn there are no rear USB ports. I have 2 in the dash and 1 in the console. Most of the videos I've watched about hooking up Android phone to Uconnect with a cable, they have used the one in the console. Are the 2 in the dash and the one in the console equally the same? Thanks
This guy did a crack up job with this. There were several items he pointed out that that I was unaware of. One was the ability to turn on the rear cam while going forward. One item he left out completely was the eco light and mds. Really great video though.
The other day I had something rolling around in the back seat floor. At stop sign, with nobody behind me, I jumped out to fix that noise in the back. A couple cars were rolling up behind me so I jumped in quick and to my surprise the truck wouldn't move. Thought the trans was locked up...
In the attached video he is describing the new 5.0 Uconnect. How do I know if my 2021 Ram 8.4 is 4.0 or 5.0. I googled it and the response said 4.0. Thanks
When I come to a full stop the gear indicator on the instrument panel is 2-3 gears behind. I'm stopped and it's showing 3rd and slowly to 2nd and 1st. Same moving forward. The electronics are considerably behind what's actually happening. Not really a problem, just curious if others do it...
Does your brand new 5.7 sound like the one in this video? Skip to .35-1.04 the rest isn't applicable. Mine sounds like this or like a bowl of marbles in oil being agitated. Sounds like all the valve lashes are set loose.
