Slowly putting things back together. Had to completely redo the adapter plates I made to get things to clear door once snapped back together. I moved from 1/2" to 1/4", and it provided just enough room to add CCF between speaker/plate/door, and still clear grille when reassembled (I think lol)...
Can I count multiple items if my today stretched into weeks? :D Been sitting in my garage since I purchased it trying to get things installed.
1) Fitcam X front and rear
2) Full tint (front, sides, rear, roof)
3) 2/3 lowering kit (will be moving to ridetech, but I had the parts laying around...
According to multiple tuners it's overall hp, not just from stop (aka 2000ish rpm improvements). Here's one dyno chart for comparison. Check out the massive torque curve difference. That's a fat curve on the e torque.
Yes, I did find it interesting however that tuners claim more power with E torque motors than without; so there must be something more to it. I hate the system, and curse Ram for forcing it on us.
I am finishing up an install on my Ram and have a question about the amp pro.
I installed the PAC amp pro CH41 R2 along with the CH42 harness. I am running optical from AMP pro directly to amps, which in turn are all running speaker wire directly from amps back to all speakers.
I removed the...
Well, From my experience, I will say CDJR is at the bottom when it comes to warranty work and helping out customers. So I certainly can agree with you there.
Well now that you said that, I am super perplexed. I have a 24 Night Edition. My 20 NE didn't have the leather dash; I assumed it was an...
No mfg is exempt from issues unfortunately. We have a multi franchise dealership with GM/CDJR/Subaru, and they all have their problems. I feel my biggest complaint with Stellantis is their lack of QC. I'm on my 6th or so Ram now in the past few years, and most every one of them has had some...
Too bad that same job is triple the price now. I just had tint done all the way around (including roof and windshield), and it was $650.00. That was with the good guy discount. They normally charge $900 for that. PPF on the front of the truck is $1,500. :( I used to pay $250.00 for that same...
Well 1 step forward, 5 steps back. After CCF on plate and driver and wrapping cone, I attempted to snap door panel back together. Well, the additional 1/4 inch or so of final movement threw a monkey wrench in the whole thing. The speaker now contacts the grille at about the 10 o clock position...
Ironically enough; 90% of those trucks could sport those wheels as they'll never leave the Tarmac. I can't tell you the number of AEV/custom Jeeps builds we've done that will never see a dirt road. They just want it to look cool. To each their own.
I always get crap about lowering my 4x4, but...
Well the doors are close to going back together. After test fit number 1,000,000, I think everything will clear as needed. I wasted about an hr of my life the other night, drilling out the grille in the wrong door panel lol. That's what I get from pulling all nighters.
I would have liked to...
Subs do not belong in a door. Worst spot for them. You'd have to somehow build a sealed enclosure inside the door (an 8" sub isn't really designed to work IB, which a door is. You'd then have to take into account the 8 million rattles that will most likely occur from everything resonating inside...
Thanks Ben. It's odd because I swear this Ram has considerably more fender clearance than any of my past Rams (no ORG). I'll start with 2" and adjust from there if necessary.
