Apparently, K&N (for example) uses a nominal rating which they place at 10 um, while their ABSOLUTE rating is 40 um. Huge difference. They clearly advertize the nominal because it appears better than what is absolute. While FRAM and WIX ratings are absolute numbers. Also the FRAM end caps...

Why no FRAM? I've always used them with no issues on every car/truck I have owned. I recall watching Engine Masters recently and they compared a bunch of them and FRAM did quite well.

Sorry guys, just wanna be sure. I went to RockAuto to compare and the Mopar 5038041AA, as I found it through using 2016 Dodge Challenger, 5.7L WITH ScatPack, does that mean the Fram XG2 is the same filter size as that Mopar one listed?

I just ordered the kit and wonder if it is possible to put a larger capacity oil filter on there? I have the PacBrake relocation kit for the 5.7L Hemi. If so, anyone have a part number? I'm always shocked by how tiny the OEM filters are for these trucks.....

I know it is (was?) a common issue and a TSB was released but my question is, what was the actual cause? My 2019, when it is generally cold (below freezing) and wet/damp out, and backing out of the driveway in reverse, the brakes SQUEAL like crazy. So loud that it would wake the neighbours...
