Like this a lot. I am hesitant to mess with the luxury ride that is the Limited but I do sometimes miss the rugged look and slight ride height difference I had on my Rebel.

I have a LoPro soft rollup - Rambox and MFT - no water gets in. There should be rubber seals at the end of teh tailgate. If not I think somebody in this forum linked where you can buy some that fit the gap exactly.

If neither have the surround camera the Limited should have everything the Laramie does with better resale value...if I am remembering correctly. I have a 2023 Limited the luxury is worth it no regrets.

Wouldn't it be pretty simple to just pull it open if factory locked? Law of averages says you will be fine...nobody wants your gas and if somebody is putting sugar in your tank it's more likely a targeted vandal
