I had a weird clunk I had to chase down for a long time, 2 different shops couldn't find it. Ended up just being lose rear control arm bolts. Only happened when stopping, or moving from a dead stop.
I had a bad (almost violent) clunk for a while, kept feeling like it was coming from the front cab area. Would only happen at the beginning of acceleration or coming to a stop.
I went crazy, had multiple mechanics (including dealership) look for it. No one was ever able to find it.
Well, one...
I havent done any research but I trust Carli's products. They used to use Fox for commuter but migrated to their own branded product. They must have a lot of confidence in it to make that move. I just feel the Kings were overkill after being on them for 35k miles, personally. Theyre killer in...
18x9.5 Fuel Heaters, 35x12.5 Nitto Ridge Grapplers, Carli 2.5" Performance Kings, ReadyLift UCA, ICON 1.5" Rear Spring.
I get some slight rub at full crank, no major trimming just a little bit of plastic. I've had this setup running now for about 35k miles, no rebuilds yet. If i could do it over...
Hey all, currently scratching my head between the GoRhino Dominator Xtreme DT Side Steps and the Westin Outlaw Nerf Step Bars . Wife is pregnant and needs some safer leverage getting in the truck.
Personally love the style of these two. Anyone running either of these exact steps? Would love to...
1.75" for the front is cutting it a bit close to fit 35s. You're likely looking at some rubbing, even with plastic trimming. Might be able to resolve with wheels spacers, but I never recommend wheel spacers
Yeah it definately got bumped in price! I only purchased the Carli King shock package ($3,260) and the Carli front break lines ($220). I just recycled my Readylift UCAs and I already had rear ICON 1.5" Springs
Got my Carli Kings on!
Honestly going from stock, to Readylift 3.5" spacers, to adding ICON VS 2.0 shocks in the rear, to Carli Kings... hands down Carli Kings is the most buttery smooth ride so far (you'd hope so for the money, right?). Stock was plush, but the Kings just make the truck so...
Got installed my B2Fabrication Moderate mid-muffler replacement yesterday. Rear resonators are still on. Sounds perfect! Nice deep growl, not too loud, wife approved.
Yes I know it's a do it yourself but I wanted it welded and not clamped 😁
Sound clip is up on my Instagram @babayaga5.7
Unfortunately all the official info I have is "this kit is now in production" aka no longer just a pre-order.
I've been told unofficially they expect 6 to 8 weeks out.
I definitely appreciate the feedback here.
Sounds like if I am investing over $2.5k+ in performance suspension - it's best spent on Carli.
I'll wait for their system to get released :) Thanks for helping make my mind up!
Honestly I put them in at the same time as some ICON 2.0 VS shocks in the rear, so it wasn't an apples to apples ride comparison.
Personally I have nothing bad to say about them - the stability of the back end increased drastically compared to stock (and from the 3.5" ReadyLift spacer kit they...
