Totally agree. Prices are more than insane. The Big Horn 6 with Level 2 and Night Edition is 15000 more than my '16 Ram Hemi was.
A month or 2 ago I priced out a F150 Lariat, Laramie equal. The Ford has a V8 and the black package. Laramie Turbo 6 and Night Edition. The Ram was 4 K more than...
The dealer about 2 miles from me received their first '25 Rams last week and got more this week.
They are already advertising $6000 off the Big Horn and $5500 off of the Laramie. The Big Horns I saw had a sticker of 60K, so already 10% off. I would not be surprised if in a couple months we see...
On the Ram build and price it looks like Steel Storm is no longer listed as an option. Is that a site thing or did it get dropped by Ram?
The Car Connection site build and price still shows it as an option.
I hope the turbos work out fine. This engine is too new for me to commit to buying a Ram yet. There are probably less than 50,000 Wagoneers running this thing. I need to see some real world experiences when the volume from Ram picks up.
The 22" tires have about 5/8" less sidewall to absorb potholes etc and increase the chances of a bent wheel. Plus, they are more expensive to replace.
I stopped again today to look at a couple '25 Rams. Both were Laramies. The wheels are not black buy more like Granite Crystal in color...
I looked at the Wagoneer site. The wheels are different than the Ram. The Ram is almost totally black except the outer edges.
It is ridiculous what Ram wants for the night Edition on a Laramie. It is 3400 plus you need to take the level 2 package. That is almost 6K over the base Laramie. The...
Saw my 1st '25 Ram on a dealer lot today, black Laramie Sport.
The billboard letters on the tailgate look as bad a s I thought they would. I would replace every emblem and badge with the black version. The wheels that some claimed were ugly, are in my opinion good looking in person. They are all...
I always use 87 in my '16 Ram Hemi and it was the same in my '05 Hemi. Never a problem. The 3.0 better run fine on 87 or there will be a lot of pissed off owners.
The chrome tailgate letters are hideous. Way better in black. On the NE's, what's up with the raised white letter tires? I would have them reversed before I drive it off the lot.
I thought of this after I posted my comment.
How else would they line up the letters on the production line with the holes.
Removing the letters and hood badges on these things results in expensive bodywork.
Thanks Ram for building traveling billboards.
Big letters front and back, just like GMC. Take the letters off the Ram and I wonder how many would think it was a GMC.
Once again I go back to the Crosshair, no mistaking the truck for a GMC.
Looking at this picture, the letters appear to be just stuck on like they were on the Rebel for years. If this is the case and I would buy a '25, the letters would be removed and replaced with the badge. Looks better to me and cheaper than paying almost $300 for the black letters.
The turbo lag is what I am afraid of. It won't be the smooth Hemi power delivery. Probably when the turbo kicks in, the gas mileage is worse than the Hemi.
The tailgate billboard was unnecessary. If I was buying one the letters would be switched to black to mute them. The simple Ram badge worked great for years. They spend money on adding these instead of reducing the price or not charging for paint colors. The grill has a time proven answer, go...
If I were to buy a '25 Ram, and that is a big if, it would be a black Laramie Sport. I would have the chrome badges and letters replaced by the black version. Those big billboard sized letters on the tailgate need to be muted. I would also get the black Mopar aftermarket sidesteps, since Ram in...
I also despise chrome in almost any form. The Night or black packages have turned huge profit centers for manufacturers. If you want a Laramie Night, you have to move up to the Level 2 option. Then on top of that it is another 3300 for black trim and the sport hood. They also force you into 22"...
The Ramboxes take away normal usable bed space for small item storage. This is not something that should be made standard.
Sounds to me like they made a deal with the supplier to take a lot of boxes so they get a cheaper price, and then charge the buyer for something they don't want.
3 things would keep me from the Tungsten or Limited. The air suspension, Ram Boxes, and the power side steps.
They should not be forcing the boxes on every truck. I wonder what the actual take rate was on them.
