Yeah that’s kinda odd. My shop was pretty unfazed when I discussed the air ride with them. Install took them a couple hours.
All 5 ride heights work without issue.
If I leave my foot on the brake pedal during startup, I get a similar sound maybe 50% of the time. If I take my foot off the pedal right after hitting the start button, I do not seem to have a problem.
Is the F1 better than the mx4 in all regards? Or just more durable but the mx4 is superior in other ways? Cost doesn’t seem too different between the two.
My understanding is that trucks with Ramboxes and those without are in two different universes for tonneau covers.
MFT means nothing to those with Ramboxes. Rail color means nothing to those without Ramboxes.
At least in my understanding of the issues..
I have 305/45/22 on my truck. Absolutely love them. Look great and ride great. My main reason for choosing them over 285/55/22 is I wanted to stay in an XL rating instead of LT for the sake of ride quality.
If I could, I would have liked to drive them side by side and see if it really made a...
Did you take the truck for a drive, cycle through the ride heights, and power cycle? I don’t think the link adjustment is necessarily instantaneous.
Beyond that not achieving desired height, I don’t have much else to offer lol
Yes, those are adjustable links.

Personally, I’ve never had just the links installed, but one of the reasons I never did was because I had read multiple times that it would worsen ride quality.
When I got my leveling kit installed, it was slightly nose up and I do think that worsened the ride quality. I added links to the...
I don’t know much about using Alfa to change ride height, but I’d really be surprised if your truck in the before picture was stock. It doesn’t look to me like it had any rake 🤷♂️
Lol! They’re not boldly branded and identifiable by any means, but if you know what you’re looking at they should be pretty easy to see.
If you want that little bit of lift back, they’re quite easy to install. I personally have the ReadyLift leveling kit for mine and love it
I do feel like every truck is just a little different and yours may not have any squat. It doesn’t look like you do in the side picture. I felt like mine was most noticeable on certain surfaces though, not at all times.
But it took about 10 min to install, 8 of which was finding, opening, and...
Looks great man! I love that truck color and the Red edition is sick.
Reminds me of my truck with ReadyLift and 305/45s ;). Though I have Toyos instead of Nittos.
I did end up adding Revel links to my rear suspension to raise it about a 1/4” as I thought I had the tiniest bit of squat after...
Ride is great in my opinion. Better than stock tires. Virtually no increase in road noise unless you’re really listening for it. No rub that I can tell in Aero mode, not sure about entry/exit
