I tried this with this exact product and only made it worse. I understand that some folks have had success with it though. After that I bought the new light from my local dealer which fixed the leak.
I had this leak also, and since my truck is out of warranty I took a stab at fixing it myself. I tried “fixing” the brake light seal and only made it worse such that it looked like your pic. Then I spent the $35 and bought the new one with the much improved seal, and that stopped the leak...
I’ve seen Limited and Longhorn take-off wheels on here relatively cheap. Also, I wouldn’t expect mirror caps and emblems to break the bank. Those would give a good splash of chrome without the high cost of a new grille or bumpers. If you like chrome, which I obviously do, color is no substitute.
I have the Continentals, and they are great. They are quiet, ride smooth, and are outstanding in the rain. I have 15k miles on them now, and they still look new. I’ve had BFG’s, Cooper’s, and Wild Country AT’s in the past and would not go back to them if I were looking for mileage, smooth...
I had an ‘04 Frontier for 13 years before my Ram, and my son has a ’15 like yours. If all you have driven is a Classic, then you should really drive a couple of 5th gens. I had a Classic for a couple of months as a rental while my truck was in the body shop (a tree fell on it during Zeta)...
I’ve never heard of a way to adjust the tilt. They took some getting used to, but I really like them now. My last truck did not have a backup camera. Once I learned to use that, I was able to rely on the mirrors for my back wheel position. The only time I turn them off is when I’m pulling a...
I have the tan leather, and it’s been great. I got my truck in April 2019 and have nearly 40K miles on it. I don’t know what you would have to spill on it to stain it. I’ve had the usual food, muddy dog prints, boxes and such which have all cleaned up easily. We built a house last year, and...
To give you guys looking for a Longhorn something of a baseline, the only additional options I wanted and bought were the 3.92 gears and anti-spin on a 4x4, crew cab with 5.7 bed as shown in my signature. My payload per the sticker is 1572 lbs. I think that’s about as good as you can expect in...
I have the 8.4” w/ Nav, and I had a very similar problem. Mine thought I was always about 40 miles away and headed a different direction. The dealer tried updates to fix it, but the final fix was to replaced the entire radio.
Same as above. I usually plug in for Car Play. I like the voice to text and getting the phone charged at the same time. The hands free works great with Bluetooth, but you’re right about no text notification. Siri still works fine either way.
Do you have Nav? If so, does it work correctly? My Nav quit working and everything associated with it including clock sync. The dealer replaced the radio, and it all works now. They tried some updates first which didn’t help mine, but it would be worth a shot to try.
