Thanks! Yeah I would totally throw it on a rebel, it’s actually part of the 4x4 package that air design sells, lol I was worried that it was going to look weird on my truck! Here’s a pic of it out in the open, the wing is really subtle but seems like it finishes off the rear end....
Just finished up the sub box and install, just one more piece of lexan to sandblast next week . So far so good, need a ton more dynamat though. Cleaning up some of the amp wires this weekend as well.
There is a company that makes offset upper ball joints: Spc performance. Mood makes one as well but if it’s past something like 3 degrees out your going to need to order Inez upper control arms....
Here’s a picture of my negative camber at 4” drop. Also because I went so low in the rear after the car settled I needed to buy an adjustable rear trac bar. I personally love the camber, makes it look even lower lol!
Here’s mine from March, I measured the drop today for you as well, my front end is down exactly 4 inches now and the rear is 4 7/8. I set the MaxTrac coil overs at the 3” setting and they got everything in check except the camber. The place that was finally able to get it aligned is a high...
Thought about it but as long as the toe is good you won’t be wrecking tires. I’m set at 3” and after 1 year I’m at 3 3/4” drop in the front end. My camber is in the red by 1 degree but my caster and toe are perfect. It took me 3 alignment shops to get it right. But if you’re only down 2” in the...
I’m over a year on MaxTrac right now and I lowered the front 3” off the bat and now I’m close to 4”, rear was originally dropped to 4” but after settling, I’m at 4 7/8”. I have zero issues, no rubbing or anything. Bang for the buck, it’s a great kit! With the kit itself, no issues except for...
I
Ive only scraped the active air dam like 3 times and my truck is over 3.5” drop front with a rake as my rear is only 4.5” drop. I still have my running boards on and they’re no where close to scraping and I’m pretty sure they’re as low as the retractable ones, I wouldn’t worry too much about...
They actually have you cut the factory bump stops, and once you cut them man they’re rigid. By cutting the cups off that the factory bump stops sit in gives you another inch of compression on aftermarket bump stops and really smooths out the ride, but if you have helper bags, I bet you will have...
Rides like factory up front but the rear bump stops were really hard and I kept bottoming out on them so I removed them, cut the cups off the mounts with an angle grinder and installed bell tech bump stops, they were like $35 on Amazon. Super soft and I haven’t bottomed out since! Way more...
I know it’s for a 4th Gen but it worked fine. Yeah the axle pushed out to the drivers side, the trac bar was a little too long on mine but the aftermarket one took the alignment guys like 5 seconds to dial in. You can actually lay under your truck and when it’s loose( when I first installed it)...
So here’s my issue, dropped my truck way past the recommended drop for the MaxTrac kit but the only issue I had was the front caster and camber. The truck has finally settled and I currently sit about 3 5/8” drop in the front and 4.5 rear . I found these offset ball joints at summit that...
Lol oh man I was out over 3/4 - 1”........ I ordered the freedom off-road one off Amazon. Here’s a picture. It’s over built but works great! Here’s the link - Freedom OffRoad Rear Adjustable Track Bar Panhard for 0-4" Lift 2009-2018 Ram 1500...
Lowered mine 3//4.5 with MaxTrac. If I had the cash at the time I would have went Inez due to the minor negative camber I ended up with. But the MaxTrac kit is easy to install but buy an adjustable trac bar to get the back end centered. Here’s a pic of mine currently. Just ordered 24x10 dub...
