Does Hemi "tick" go away by using a heavier weight oil, a higher quality synthetic oil or buy using premium fuel only? Would premium fuel use be more related to the exhaust manifold bolt issue? If so I do not follow at all. Bolts are bolts, cheap ones rust out regardless of fuel, no???
I think I do not understand the concept of a closed system and yet a constantly running compressor or a recharge??? Is this the gas in the system (it's nitrogen right???) leaking out? I think the idea was to use an inert gas that doesn't change in volume during temperature fluctuations. Anyways...
Any '19 or '20 Ontario or Northern USA LTD owners still feeling good about their air suspensions? Supposedly they were upgraded in Gen 5 to handle cold weather better. Any truth to that?
I'm a real sucker for the 2500 look in general. PW especially. But let's face it, if you're some dorky Kia or Hyundai or electric car and you see a 2500 closing in on you from behind...you're moving over...period.
Yeah right...do you think the Germans are idiots. Once they hook their silly Audi way of everything into you, every other vehicle just "seems" off. But f**k I would love a nice 1500 LTD in Black or a Power Wagon so that I could just drive over, literally, all those pesky Audis...argh...
I was just on an Audi forum dealing with yet another squeak on my A4. I really love Audis, they ARE great cars. But man do I want a Ram. Trucks just seem so big, so spacious, so "move over or I'll run you over". ARGH...
I personally do not acknowledge "real" vs fake Power Wagon. To me its the muscle its the suspension its the diffs and disconnecting sway bars. NO ONE buys a Power Wagon with the expectation of buttery soft leather seats or a 19 speaker audio system (they have a model for that already its called...
I want a Power Wagon. I just cannot stop thinking about owning one. It's just not the right truck for a city guy. LTD is in many ways a superior truck: better interior, better ride quality, I honestly think the 5.7 is a killer motor, a/s means I can lift it to hit light off roading and it can...
The only thing I keep wondering about 2500s is that transmission tunnel cutting into knee/ankle space??? Like is it just my imagination or do your feet have to sort of sit "off to the side" in a 2500 vs a 1500??? It almost doesn't make sense given how huge 2500s are just sitting their in a...
I really want a Power Wagon but I don't think it's going to happen. Many of the apartment buildings in my area are actually smaller than that thing and the fuel economy sort of concerns me. Now I'm obviously not an idiot and so comparing one of those behemoths to my A4 would not be a relevant...
I saw some video, sorry cannot recall the source, where the dude pops off the passenger's side rear tail light assembly...unplugs a tube...squirts in a few drops of some air brake line de icer...and then claims that this is THE fix for a/s issues in cold weather climates. The thing I obviously...
I guess my point is there was a time where Chrysler and quality weren't used in the same sentence too often. Are Rams now the superior quality brand? I heard GM and Ford are just junk these days. Did you guys hear that 7.3 liter Ford engine literally shreds itself after 20,000 miles.
Stellantis builds these in Mexico right? I would assume quality is much better than the stuff built locally? Yes/Np? Any Gen 4 to Gen 5 owners with miles?
