I decided to purchase a second Mopar filter so when I'm washing and drying the other filter the truck does not have any downtime.
I put 75,000 miles on the original filter and it is still in pretty good shape.
I will clean it up and start a rotation. (y)

The MAP sensor also determines the air flow rate:
"A vehicle's manifold pressure sensor, or manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAP), is part of an engine's electronic control system. ... The ECU uses the data to calculate density and determine the engine's air mass flow rate, which helps the...
They are a little more than some of the China alternatives, but they are the best in the industry and stand behind there products.
Another reason I went with REDARC isolator, when the start battery and the auxiliary battery are linked a red led is visible on the isolator. ⚡🏮
If you have a lead acid battery or AGM as your starter battery I would purchase an auxiliary battery that is the same type of battery and cranking amperage to help with the charging profile.

Yeah, You would definitely need to add an aftermarket catch can, along with more frequent oil changes with a good synthetic oil. Probably would need to run an anti-carbon fuel additive specific for GDI engines, such as Royal Purple Max Clean or LiquiMoly DIJectron.
I can't find any article addressing the carbon build up issues associated with GDI.
Some manufactures are bringing the fuel to the fire by two separate paths, by fitting their engines with both port (PI) and direct injection (DI).
Stellantis only mention high-pressure gasoline direct...

When I have switched from ethanol to non-ethanol it usually takes 2-3 tanks before I have noticed a difference.
Probably because it takes a while for all of the ethanol to work out of the tank since you don't wait until the tank is empty before the next fill and therefore has residual ethanol...
The EPA article that you linked states that the 1.7% decrease in MPG is for conventional gasoline, you have to deduct another 1.9% if your burning ethanol fuel in your winter blend.
I agree with you about the truck has more drag moving through colder and more humid air, but that does not necessarily make the engine less efficient.
One of the effects of using NOS is to cool the air going into the combustion chamber. This is also the concept of a CAI (Cold Air Intake)...
Correct, just wanted to highlight the fact that DA (Dense Altitude) had many more factors that just the temperature of the air; including, relative humidity and barometric pressure.
