Ram 1500 orders - Tell Us About Yours!

Has anyone received a truck lately? Mine has been showing as in production since 1/22 and the last time I checked with my dealer it was at the body vendor. I’m wondering if it got caught up in the big recall and is having to wait for the tow module. It seems like a long time to be at the body vendor.

There was a HUGE backup at the plant (don’t know the reason). At the peak, there were about 9,000 trucks that had been built but not released - many of them shipped to storage lots. The official line was “there’s a backup at the body vendor”. But I call BS, because many of these trucks don’t go to the body vendor.
Anyways, the logjam broke loose about two weeks ago, and they’ve been releasing a much higher number each day. But it will take another couple of weeks to get to all the trucks.

Thanks for that info.

My order was delivered to Mark Dodge this morning. Entered production on 2/11.

Can you tell me about your order. I’m wondering why yours went through so much quicker than mine. What options did you get?
Mines been in production since 1/31 and has been in JB or at the body vendor for over 3 weeks now. I have the bed utility group (Laramie trim) which is the only thing that would send it to the body vendor. I’ve heard that it was either the spray in bed liner or something with the outlet in the bed that held them up. Sadly still waiting on my order that was placed 12/14 😢.

Limited Trim
5'-7" bed
Molten Red
Night Edition
Bed Utility Group
Trailer Brake Controller

I ordered it on 12-31. There was a guy who ordered a laramie the same day as me and he got his quick, around end of January.

Hi there, feel free to send our team a private message with your VON and name so we can take a further look into your order.

Diamond

Just throwing my date in here. My order was received by RAM on 2/27/2026 - I feel like it gave me a ship date in end of May for a brief moment in time after it moved from order Confirmed to Scheduled, but has since gone back to In Production TBD. Just thought I'd share. I had a 2022 EcoDiesel that is almost the exact same build, but it got totaled (rear ended by high speed vehicle) and so I'm curious about how the hurricane will compare on fuel efficiency and towing capacity.

Here are the dates for my order which I placed back on December 23, 2025. I was told it finally shipped on Monday, March 30, 2026, and should be at my dealer in about 10 days. Mine was in production for almost a month as anything not installed on the production line needs to be sent to a local vendor. In my case that included the spray in bed liner, the running boards and the paint protection film. It has taken longer than I expected based on projections from the dealer, but hopefully all will be forgotten when I get the truck.

Went from a 21 Rebel ecoD to 25 RebelX with SO Hurricane. EcoD averaged 26mpg combined, 30mpg freeway. I'm at 5Kmi on the SO, 19.2mpg combined, about 21mpg freeway.

What’s the turn around time for a ram these days. Ordered 16 march, nothing on the tracker website yet.

They recently announced that they're not showing dates on the tracker (moving forward). I guess they were tired of people complaining when their dates slipped.
To answer your question, it's all over the place. Not sure what the last 6 digits of your VIN are (which is your serial number, and would indicate where your truck is in the timeline of orders). But as a snapshot in time, today's list of build sheets - which indicate that the truck just came off the main production line - varies from the 248,000's to the 393,000's. In other words, they just built some trucks that were ordered yesterday, and other trucks that were ordered a few months ago.
Their official method for scheduling what gets built looks something like this:

maybe hurricane trucks are being built quicker than HEMI trucks 🤷‍♂️
Actually, my observation is quite the opposite. Ever since they really started ramping up the Hemi's again, the Hurricanes have taken a bit of a back seat.
My daily scan is still ongoing, but as an example, I just found 8 build sheets in the 213,000's. Those are all Hurricanes. And those orders are VERY old - like, going back to August or September of 2025.

I was going to order a Warlock but after searching for one, I found what I wanted on a dealers lot. I wanted White, with the black accents, for that Stormtrooper look. Also wanted 3.92 gears and the 33 gallon fuel tank. Well, found one with a 26 gallon tank and 3.92 gears. With rebates, it was $45K, so a good price IMO, given how much trucks are nowadays.
