Upgrade 2019 RAM 1500 Infotainment to Uconnect 5

Since i’ts been confirmed that 2022 Ram 1500 will support Uconnect 5, do you think that 2019 Ram 1500 owners will be able to update their system to Uconnect 5. If not, do you think we will be able to replace our current infotainment aiment system with the new Uconnect 5 version?

Info: I currently own a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited.

Hello everyone! I’m a newbie here and proud 2nd owner of a 2019 1500 Bighorn 4x2. I LOVE my HEMI like I’ve loved no other engine. I’ve had my truck since Sept. 2023

I’ve done small upgrades to my truck but at this point it’s time to let ‘er rip. What I really want to do is upgrade to the 12.5” UC5. I know that by now it has been done a million times so the process will be painless. I just really want to know where I can get a head unit and receiver module for less than the $600-$900 I see advertised? Someone please just point me in the right direction. I’m in South Los Angeles so there are tons of wrecking yards close by. But when I do a google search, it’s like information overload.

Can anyone help?
