Hard-wire Dash Cam Install

That's the WolfBox dash cam system, I've seen it on other vehicles, it essentially fits over the factory rear view, showing a digital rear view and also can show a boxed front view.

Pretty cool.

check out FitDVR, or Dongar first really nice.

I’m familiar with both of these and considered them, however, they don’t provide constant power when the truck is off for parking mode.

I’m parking the truck outside now, so I want parking mode. The Thinkware uses very low power for its radar to detect movement and then start recording.

My plan is to hardwire to the fuse box. I’ll use my meter to find the right fuses, but was hoping someone has done this already and could point me right to the correct ones to use.

Front and rear view Wolfbox. And yes if you want parking mode you will have to hard wire.

What do you mean they don't show anything? They literally show a digital rear view mirror that states "Wolfbox" on one of the pictures?

A Dongar does NOT give Parking Mode so not a good option at all for a dash cam.

True, majority need to be hard wired to use parking mode.

Yes, this option works great for Mazda, Toyota, and Lexus vehicles. Dongar doesn’t make anything for Ram yet that allows parking mode.
