Remote Mount Oil Filter

Mine has been perfect so far! I did use Permatex thread sealer on all the joints to avoid any leaks. I've been checking it every couple weeks and all is good. I'm about 2k miles from my first oil change since installing it..will update on how much easier it is.

Had it for awhile now and zero issues.
Well got mine installed today.
Had an issue with one of the fittings missing the o-ring. Called them up and they no question offered to get me a new fitting and everything to replace that one. Really good customer service.
Install did not take too long. Just took my time. Tightening the fittings is fun but not terrible. Nothing about the install is really difficult. Going to go for a little drive here in a bit to make sure no leaks.

First oil change using the PAC brake kit so.... Center for Insanity Lessons Learned. Just because the oil filter is not leaking once you pull it free too soon you will have a deluge of hot *** oil come running out and burn you despite using a oil udder..... Other than that went very well at least the mess was in my stone driveway vs all over the steering rack.

I really have to get one of these remote filters. I have been working on vehicles for 50 years and am pretty good at it. HOWEVER, I have come to believe that I am genetically incapable of changing oil without spilling some and making a mess.
What is the model number of a bigger oil filter than can be used with the Pac Brake system?

I use the SRT MOPAR Filter..MO-0041..I think it is..get the Fumoto valve also...

Two half-gallon zip lock bags, haven't spilled a drop in my filter changes on this truck. Crack the filter loose half a turn, slip on the first bag, loosen until it starts leaking, wait 30 seconds for it to stop leaking, slip off that first bag. Slip on the 2nd bag, continue to unscrew the oil filter. Once it drops off, hold the bag under the mount for a few seconds to catch the oil coming out of the mount, then you are done.
I keep a small plastic oil pan right next to me to put in the oily zip lock bags and keep things nice and clean. So a little big of patience, $5 for a box of 1/2 gallon zip lock bags and a $3 oil pan is all you need to have an easy time changing the oil filter.
Not trying to convince you to change your mind with an aftermarket mount, just giving your an easy and cheap option to consider.

Stumbled across this kit today from Canton that appears to have everything. Curious what others think vs other kits/cost...
It's my understanding the 19-22 5.7L v8 has a 22mm x 1.5 thread on the filter? (not really in my wheelhouse of experience).

Pac Brake is already proved itself, is cheaper and hoses are pre-made with quality fittings. The one you are considering looks like crap! Probably on sale today. Even if not on sale Pac brake is $125 or more cheaper.

I have to agree with the above comment. The PacBrake setup is purpose-built for the Ram Hemi, has MANY happy customers, and is cheaper. I can't image going with anything other than the PacBrake.... which I intend to put on my 2023 Ram Hemi at the next oil change.

I also agree with you. I would rather have pre made high pressure hydraulic hoses, than make your own. Plus the Pac Brake kit has the custom bracket, that mounts it up inside the frame, in a safe location. I have a Limited, so I raise the suspension, and don't have to raise the truck any farther, to change oil. I also recommend a Fumoto drain valve. I bought the one with the nipple on it, so I put a short hose on it, to drain right into empty jugs. Easiest oil changes ever.
