I used a cheap ANC bypass harness off Amazon cut in half, hooked up to a Kicker Key 200.4 mounted on the bracket the ANC was mounted to.

After doing ceramic, I don’t think I’d do it again. It still gets fine scratches, but you can’t buff them out without removing the ceramic.

In my 1500, I can manually turn it on.

You will not safely tow that trailer with what you want. The tongue weight will put you way over on payload. You say you don’t want a 3/4 ton truck, but your want list necessitates it.

I have a Hemi/quad/4x4/3.92 and get 9-11 towing a 4000lb 9’ tall travel trailer. I tow between 60 and 70, but notice a drop the faster you go.

Mine does, too. I don’t have a sub, though. I think it’s pretty common.

It is a thing. The exhaust pulses, and the cat is attached to the exhaust manifold. This is a very well known failure, and Nissan did nothing to address it. https://www.titantalk.com/threads/cat-pieces-getting-sucked-into-engine.436464/

Ever owned a Titan? I don’t think they are any more reliable than the big 3. Cracked exhaust manifolds has been a problem for them since day one, and the placement of cat converters means when they go bad, the pieces get sucked back into the engine.

I don’t know if your friend had mud tires or aftermarket exhaust, but my 5.7 with 3.92 is by far the quietest vehicle I’ve owned. It puts my wife’s Audi to shame.

My 22 non etorque Hemi does this as well.

I don’t know that the added protection is needed. I also don’t know if any changes were made when they made the change. I do know that VVT engines are very particular about the oil used. It would be interesting to do a study on engine failures with different grades of oil, but I’d wager 99%+ of...

Why stop at 5w-30? Why not 20w-50? It offers more protection. I will install what the engineers deemed my engine needs. If I am wrong, I have a warranty to cover me.

Mine is standard Hemi, not etorque. The lurching is going to rear end someone someday.
