Well guys. It’s been fun. Sold the truck today. Listed locally and a dealer reached out and was interested in it. Gave me a fair deal and don’t have to mess with 3rd party buyers and lowballers. Been a great truck.
I bought the Mickeys on sale and with a $100 rebate. For for 285/55/22 they were the cheapest by about $200 for the set. Toyos were the most expensive.
I had them in a 305/45/22, decent tire, no real qualms, a bit louder than I was expecting but it was my first AT tire. Wanted something taller, the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss were cheaper in a 285/55/22, so I tried those, heard good things and tbh I like the Mickey’s better.
The Borla is louder, the MBRP was about the same volume on cold start though. But warm start, normal acceleration and hard acceleration, the S-Type is louder. It’s not overbearing though.
I like the Borla more for sure. MBRP was always meant to be a temporary thing, it was cheap, sounded good, nice and deep, but I was getting some drone from it. I think it had a slight exhaust leak on one of the connection points though.

Yay for running over wet paint. Was all over the insides of the fender wells, under the running boards, tires, and on the side of the truck. Luckily 80% was only on the drivers side. I was pretty P.O.’d. Luckily it came off relatively easy with a pressure washer and some bug and grime remover...
