I added the Ram factory power steps after purchasing my 1500. I really don't like running boards and the retractable boards fit the bill. No gap and if you don't know what you're looking at, you won't notice the steps.

I came from a 2016 GMC Denali 1500. I have a 21 Laramie 1500. Loved my Denali with all of the bells and whistles, but really like the body and powertrain of the Ram. Miss the ACC and Blindspot detection of the GM. With the latest interior upgrades on the GM, may be going back in the future.
I used the #8 slot on the shocks. I now have a 3/4 inch rake from rear to front. I believe the measurement is 40 inches to the rear wheel well and 39 &1/4 inches at the front wheel well. I am happy with the finished product.
