Once I actually received the truck and drove it for a little bit to settle the suspension, I had about a 1 3/4" rake. I wanted some rake even after the lift in order to haul to heavier things and not sag. So I settled on the 2"/1" lift, which has left me with about 3/4" rake which is just...
I don't know why they didn't just recommend their level kit with the UCAs, that's what you really want (depending on current rake). Using the full lift kit and not using the pre-load spacer will not "level" your truck.
The full 3.5" lift kit has the preload spacers and the top hat spacers...
I can say with personal certainty that the shock top has no angle. You can stand these shocks up upside down on their studs and they stand straight up. I've also taken a few of these apart and also purchased some shock tops new. There's no angle to the top, or to the spring isolator. The...
I know it's been done in the last few weeks, and a local guy bought some to put on his non-ORP fronts according to my dealer, but can't track that one down. What hasn't been done that I know of is someone putting them on the fox shocks of the mopar kit. The springs are not that much taller, they...
Are you sure your spring part numbers are 68320249AA? 68320249AB is just the replacement part number for 68320249AA, they both are ORP Springs, and if you don't have ORP you shouldn't have that part number.
What are your rear spring part numbers? What color are the stickers on your front shocks...
No, but simply because I did the sway bar quickly after I got it. I've had the sway on previous rams and it was always a big improvement to rear stability.
Husky. After the alignment, I had to do a little work on the front "spat" and the mug guard due to mild rubbing in reverse, but it still looks the same from the outside.
I'm going to try to put a pioneer 8" shallow dual-vc sub in the factory box for now (needs 1.5" of spacers though since the box is extremely shallow), and I'll be leaving the third channel accessible so that I can expand in the future.
Pics to come...
Couple things:
1) Now that I've figured out the best way to test polarity (my lightning-to-3.5mm connector had a bad connection so got a new one, and since then it's been spot on), I can tell you that all Alpines 9+1s that I re-tested are all WIRED opposite - ALL THE SPEAKERS, ALL 10. So either...
Ram's Head - I took the inside tailgate cover off (upper part of inside of tailgate), and reached in and pushed the 4 tabs out of their hole a bit, and then carefully pried the emblem off - it's stuck on, as well as has those 4 tabs.
As far as removing emblems, I just used some fishing line and...
So here are the pics of a 275/65R20 (34.2") spare tire mounted underneath. This is the biggest tire I think you could mount under there, and it takes a little extra work getting it up in there. It's really close (1/3") to the track bar, and fits snug in the shields.
Do you think this is too...
