Ride is outstanding. Don't really have much to compare it to. It rides better than my wife's cx5 and better than the Malibu I traded in on it. Haven't done much offloading yet unless you count donuts in a snowy field lol
I was 1/13 ‐ 1/25 and my truck was delivered on 1/17. Hopefully that rings true for you too! I owe you some pics also lol. I'll try to get some tomorrow. Been swamped.
Speaking from first hand experience with the backcountry and the LEDs, it's worth the wait! I'd say check with your dealer every week and also check with different dealers as well. Specifically Mark dodge in Louisianna. Sometimes it seems different dealers or different areas have access to...
I put down my deposit ($500) and my trade in, which was $14500 - ~$3500 in payoff) so about ~$12k down total. Came out financing ~$49k total. Was able to get 1% below invoice and invoice price was price protected to when I ordered.
I was able to get 0% for 72 months and a 1k incentive (plus 4 $250 coupons off the purchase because it's a small-ish dealership). Think my payment is going to be $680 a month (this includes the 8 year 125k mile warranty that they price matched).
I believe you'll see BS before it goes to body vendor. At least that was what happened in my case. It was built on 1/3/22, shipped to body vendor on 1/3/22, but I got my BS on 1/4/22, while it was still at the body vendor (according to the screenshot my salesman sent).
Your ESD would have come from your salesman, it would have been on the POC. Pretty safe to assume it was today though. Now you're waiting on a build sheet (probably get that tomorrow), and a window sticker once it's been released by the plant and invoiced to your dealer. Probably get that...
I just asked my salesman to check into it and it was offered. No fuss, entire process was really easy. They also matched Zeigler warranty quote for 8 years 125k miles.
I'd recommend waiting until it arrives at the dealership. Or ask the salesman for a recommendation. If it's MD, they won't mind your truck sitting on their lot for a week or so I'm sure. But better to do that than to book a flight and have to cancel multiple times and rebook.
Your dealer should have an estimated ship date (which is actually the build date) but it's usually roughly 2 weeks after going D1. Contact your dealer and ask for an updated POC and the ESD should be on there.
My dealer got me price protection and said he's going to try to do price protection on my buddy's trx that was ordered a couple weeks before mine and is set to get built next week.
Thanks! I'll definitely be posting some more pics when I go to pick it up. Let me know if you or anyone else has any specific BackCountry pic requests.
