Nothing I said was intended to hurt your feelings, nor was any of it incorrect. God luck with your "popping breakers", clearly you're a master tradesman in addition to your mastery of reading comprehension. Mazel-tov.
Nothing is going to burn down if you're using appropriately rated overcurrent devices, conductor and receptacles. 30A @ 240 isn't really a big deal unless you're already driving a bitcoin mine or an indoor grow in your basement off your resi panel.
You're only supposed to load any given circuit to 80%, so 80% of a 15A service is 12A, 80% of a 20A circuit is 16A. Most household circuits aren't loaded anywhere near capacity for their overcurrent devices, so it's pretty easy even on a fully "loaded" panel, to pull the conductor off a circuit...
Yes, an EV scooter or little 3 wheel car or maybe even a hatchback for commuting and errands in town is OK. An EV pickup truck is just ridiculously useless to people who use a pickup truck as a pickup truck.
Lot of good advice here, but it's on the conservative side. Just remember, lots of complete idiots tow insane stuff with their trucks and never even think to ask the question. Trailer brake controller is a must, everything else seems OK to me, XL load rating "should" be good.
I tow with a rear drop level, does fine because the springs have the same rating, just softer on the top so it's a little squatty. With the hellwig sway it's very solid. Boat and trailer are just over 4.5k pounds. I don't see why you couldn't tow a 17 foot trailer with a lowered truck.
Well, lucky for you Ram doesn't use customer vehicles for R&D on poorly constructed fuel systems. I'm glad my Ram doesn't have multiple CCPS or 4CS suspension. 😉
I appreciate your posts on this subject. I'm looking for shocks and struts, just hit 50k and front end feels busier than it did new. It is non ORG and rear level springs (2" drop) with the Hellwig set tight and the truck handles like a big sport sedan. Will the Eibach kit referenced above lift...
