    TFL Trucks - 2025 Ram 1500

My eyes are probably deceiving me, but while pretty, the front of the Tungsten looks like there’s not much ground clearance and it looks a bit vulnerable.

    New Ram using 4WAuto

Has anyone actually noticed a difference in gas consumption between 4WD-auto and 2WD? I can’t tell a difference, but admit I haven’t turned it into a science project either. Just going by what the display shows for current consumption on cruise control and switching forth and back between...

    Shark Fin rubs garage door

Mine is only a 2” lift and another inch due to 34” tires. The truck fits in my garage but not by much. That said, I found out that it doesn’t much of a snow drift against the garage door to make the antenna rub.

    Cleaning outside windshield

Today I was able to capture rain drops running up the windshield:

    Wheel spacers?

Mud guards only work for what gets flung back I’d think. What gets thrown forward is released somewhere on top of the tire.

Mopar Cat back + Ram Airflow

Thanks! I’ll save that for spring.

    Wheel spacers?

6K miles now. Dealer re-checked torque today during tire rotation, no charge :). One thing I’ve noticed, is that you can see the snow and slush getting flung forward outside the wheel wells.

Mopar Cat back + Ram Airflow

Was at the dealership for service today. Inspection sheet was marked “yellow” for the air filter. Seems a bit soon. Is the Airflow supposed to be cleaned or replaced when dirty?

    Snow Driving

That is more or less what I meant by my earlier post. On ice and in slushy snow I usually take off in 4-H. Does it make sense to go back to 4-auto when in motion or can I just leave it in 4-H till the next turn or stop?

    Snow Driving

Is there a delay between the truck noticing spin and kicking into 4WD when in 4-auto? Should I feel a difference taking off on ice and “flooring it” in 4-auto vs 4-high?

    Wheel spacers?

    Yes, dealer installed.

Post Your 2019 Ram Total Mileage so far

I got the 7 yr unlimited miles in 12/18. My commute is/was 100 mls a day but then the COVID forced me to work remote and now there’s other circumstances that have me working from home. So far it looks like in 2 months I’ll have averaged 12k/yr. No issues whatsoever.

    Wheel spacers?

To be honest, I don’t know. Thanks this board, I just knew enough to ask a few questions and find out the dealer didn’t use locktite and to retorque at 500 mls. So when I came in for retorque, someone took a torque wrench and started to torque the wheels. I’m like nope, could have done that...
