anyone put the rebel rim on a Limited?

I sent a PM. I also have them posted in B/S/T forum

Yep... Another Air Conditioning Post - with numbers and pics

I did the ceramic tint all around including windshield and sunroof. It definitely helps, though I agree that it shouldn't be necessary in order to be comfortable (I'd probably do it regardless living in Las Vegas). Can you link to the hack you mention? :)

What did you do to your Ram today???

Agreed 10' is about the longest without a bed extender. We haul a 10', 12', 13', and 13.5' using a bed extender with no issues. The bed extender sets up and breaks down easily so we can store it out of sight while we're on the lake. The 10' is the only one I'd be comfortable with not using the...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Dang, that really sucks. At least you're getting phenomenal gas mileage! As someone else mentioned, many insurance companies will replace it at little or no cost and without penalty if you have comprehensive coverage. It sounds like you've already replaced it, but maybe they would provide at...

What did you do to your Ram today???

I bought some "hatch" covers that are made by another forum member: https://www.puckups.com/product/hatch/ However in my picture the tool tote is sitting on the other side where there isn't a hatch (towards the cab on the passenger side), as his kit only provides one of those hatches for each...

anyone put the rebel rim on a Limited?

Bit of a necro here, but thanks to this post (and others) I made the switch from the 22's my Limited came with to the Rebel wheels and tires. Haven't fully tested for rubbing yet, and will probably see about leveling (not sure how it is done with the air suspension). Will be selling the 22's...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Here's a random one for those with Ramboxes. I found an 18" tool tote bag that fits the perfect width and height of the Ramboxes. You can't have it right in the center because of the latch area, but this will work perfect for an on-the-go tool kit etc. Now to throw some real tools in it...

What did you do to your Ram today???

I installed the same LED bed light kit that I have now in my '14 RAM via wiring to constant power with its own switch. I left it on overnight a few times and over a full weekend at least once, and I never had battery drain issues. I don't think the LEDs draw enough power to be much of a concern...

What did you do to your Ram today???

I'll probably make a separate post if and when I find a solution worth recommending. 1" expanding foam didn't seal as well as I hoped; it loses water resistance the more expanded it gets. I currently just have 3/4" rubber foam on there now, but it doesn't fill the gap completely and the adhesive...

What did you do to your Ram today???

That looks fantastic! Are you getting any rubbing at all with that size? I've been debating going for the Nitto Ridge or G2's, though I was hoping the larger tires would soften the ride up a little instead of the other way around. These 22's make me miss my 20's as far as ride quality is concerned.

What did you do to your Ram today???

The gap between the Rambox and the tailgate, which is about an inch or so. It allows water to get into the bed of the truck even with a tonneau on the truck. I've also had pollen, leaves, and flower petals getting into my truck bed even though there is a tonneau. I've been testing out a couple...

What did you do to your Ram today???

I used BedRug part # BRI-BRT09BXK, which is technically made for the older body short bed with RamBoxes. It ended up fitting near perfect. I'm not sure why BedRug doesn't just market that model as being compatible with the newer body with RamBoxes. I got mine on Realtruck.com and chatted with...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Added additional bed lights by tapping into the OEM bed lights after being completely unimpressed with the OEM lighting. Ramboxes made it a little trickier to maneuver the wiring. I haven't attached the light strips with adhesive yet as I only have alcohol swabs (damn covid) and it was getting...

What did you do to your Ram today???

lol same here. Gap sucks and the lids aren't perfect, but the utility is amazing. I tried using that 1" expanding foam and didn't love the result, so I'm going to try something else. When it is expanded to 1" it becomes less water resistant. I did use a different brand. I'm curious if others...

    Socket on dash

Not if you use a shorter cord. Most of those devices connect with mini / micro USB which are readily available in any length you want. I do wish RAM would have kept another 12v socket somewhere in the front and/or back console. I'm going to be wiring a 12v socket + dual QC USB ports to the...
