After you guys have replaced your battery, how long does it take for all the "systems" to update and the fault lights to go out? I replaced my battery on Sunday and as of this morning, only the reverse camera has returned. Right now I still have no cruise control, stability, park sensors...
Was able to get this done finally. I went ahead and ordered the parts and when I got them I was able to get a better idea of how the nozzles attached to the hood. I used a long screwdriver and popped them out from the bottom of the nozzle where they were connect to the hood. Not too...
I haven't resolved this yet myself. I don't use anything but regular washer fluid, normally that's good enough in my area, but the past two years we've gotten temps well below normal for a few days.
Still trying to figure out how to take the nozzles out. Frustrating to say the least...
It looks like the last hard freeze in the DFW area killed both of my windshield washer nozzles. I took down the hood insulation and confirmed the tube leading to each nozzle was separated from the nozzle itself. The Mopar part shows that the nozzle includes the tubes as well, so I'm pretty...
I've used Huffines in Plano for service and purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from them. They have always treated me well. I have not used their body shop, but I have heard good things about it as well.
Content now with stock. I might add a few accessories like a tonneau cover but otherwise I keep them as the factory built them. In my younger days I would tear everything apart including the engine and upgrade until I ran out of things to do. I trade my primary vehicle in about every 3 years...
I owned 4 Chevy's, a Ford, and a GMC before I bought my RAM. None were or have been 100% perfect and none were or have been really bad either. They all have their spots. In the end I have not regretted buying any of them and so far I have been the happiest with my RAM. Only you can decide if...
Mine has been flawless through its first year and a quarter and ~17,000 miles. Etorque functions well and I have zero complaints with the Uconnect system. The AC works and cools the truck well on Max AC. The truck has been everything I had hoped it would be and more. Disappointed I had to...
I believe they are trying to determine if you have the advanced safety equipment package or not. There is a box behind the rearview mirror that is larger if you have options like adaptive cruise control, advanced brake assist, and forward collision warning.
I'm in the minority here but I don't like Bosch ICON wipers. I've bought them twice for different vehicles and ended up tossing them after a few months. For me they always left streaks and didn't sit well on the windshield. I started going back to OEM on all my vehicles and have been happier...
Just had mine done in April all PDR. Had over $8k in damage with hits on every panel except the tailgate. Truck is better than new, a good PDR shop can do amazing things these days.
My truck was hit hard at the end of March by a North Texas storm, ended up with over $8k in damage including the trim you mentioned. After getting it all repaired by a local PDR shop, I can honestly say my truck looks better than the day I bought it. No rattles, creaks, squeaks or other issues...
I'm assuming the truck is being turned off during the car wash process. I leave mine running and then simply shift back into drive when it is time, no brake press needed.
