There are small plugs available on line that do a good job of masking the holes. I have a white Laramie and the capped holes are hard to notice unless pointed out.

I believe the Velcro attachment strips are to keep the lightweight Bedrug from lofting in an empty bed from the back draft.
Since I always have the bed covered if not carrying something, I never attached the Velcro.
I’ve used an oil extraction pump on many vehicles with god results. I can drain a motor without getting under the vehicle.
Of course the oil filter is still an issue, but not having to remove the drain plug is less messy, saves the washer, and avoids torque questions...

Is the pullout emergency key in the key fob only for unlocking a door if the fob battery is dead?
I ask because the manual doesn’t mention it’s use. Is it possible to lock my truck with the fob inside and take only the emergency key with me kayaking.
Be nice if this were doable...
