    Increase posts per page?

FYI, not everyone lives in a metro area with “super fast internet.” More posts per page means more wait time for those with satellite internet or worse...

Anyone have a Sport Hood ? Appearance only?

When shopping my Laramie I wanted to delete the Sport hood (saving a couple hundred $), but my wife liked it. So...

    trade value

You should try Carvana. We sold a car to them about two months ago. Very smooth transaction and they paid a third more than estimated from Kelly and Edmonds. [emoji1303] https://www.carvana.com/

    gas prices may drop?

Norther Michigan this morning. Cheap gas is good until it’s not. While the feed stock (crude) drops, fixed cost of refining remains. At a point producers will not supply at a loss. Already seen articles on petroleum supplies being banked instead of distributing.

Finish this sentence: "If I had it all to do over again with my Ram 1500, I would _______________."

Gotten Level 2 package in my Laramie rather than the Level 1.

    Front license plate bracket?

There are small plugs available on line that do a good job of masking the holes. I have a white Laramie and the capped holes are hard to notice unless pointed out. My understanding is the front holder is included (no cost) on vehicles destined for two-plate states, (listed on the window...

Okay, so Laramie = "Bristol Leather Trim". What is it?

“Bristol Leather” sounds like a marketing flight of fancy... I suspect it’s never been near a real animal.

Anyone here have a bedrug? Do you like it?

I believe the Velcro attachment strips are to keep the lightweight Bedrug from lofting in an empty bed from the back draft. Since I always have the bed covered if not carrying something, I never attached the Velcro.

1st oil change was a PITA!

I’ve used an oil extraction pump on many vehicles with god results. I can drain a motor without getting under the vehicle. Of course the oil filter is still an issue, but not having to remove the drain plug is less messy, saves the washer, and avoids torque questions...

Maybe a great time to buy...

Dealers say they're being forced to buy cars they don't want, but company says profits have never been better. For buyers, it's a great time to negotiate. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a30307895/fca-dealers-inventories-dodge-chrysler-ram/

How are these trucks in heavy snow/blizzards?

The OP asked “I’m also considering a rollback tonneau cover such as the roll-n-lock. Can anyone comment about how these covers perform in snowy/freezing conditions?

    Key Fob Emergency Key

Is the pullout emergency key in the key fob only for unlocking a door if the fob battery is dead? I ask because the manual doesn’t mention it’s use. Is it possible to lock my truck with the fob inside and take only the emergency key with me kayaking. Be nice if this were doable...

Ram Rebel TRX Approved for Production

As stated by a recent press release, the Ram Rebel TRX has been approved for production, possibly in time for the 2021 model year. The Rebel TRX will be the highest-performance version of the Ram 1500 family, almost certainly powered by a 575hp version of the 6.2L supercharged Hemi V-8 found...

RAM BEATS CHEVY IN 2019 3RD QUARTER SALES

Agree. I just couldn’t get past that styling gimmick exaggerated more with each generation. IMO the Chevy/GMC twins are a lot better for going with round wheel openings.

    Feeling the Road

The OP compares the feel of his truck to that of a couple Hondas. Just taking a wild guess here. Modern cars tend to isolate the driver from road feedback. Manufacturers have tuned out most feeling from the steering wheel and pedals. As tire aspect ratios went down they worked hard to...

[emoji15] What tires are you running on your Rebel? I’ve only seen pressures that high on heavy duty vehicles.
