I am picking up my 2019 Bighorn/Lonestar Crew Cab w/ 6'4 bed next week. I currently own a 2014 Big Horn that has a Bilstein adjustable front level (2.75) with Zone UCAs, and a 1" rear lift. I love the stance of the truck and the system has worked well, though I did experience a blown ball joint after a rough week in the back country. My 2014 is going to my son at an EXTREMELY low price in support of his commitment in the Army. I get a new truck out of the deal but I have to say, it's brutal to let my 2014 go.
I want to level the truck and am not sure I want a full 3.5" lift (i.e. Rough Country). I have not ruled it out . . . I'm just not sure. I might prefer 2.5" or even 2". I am not looking for a perfect level (I like an ever so slight rake). My off-road use of this truck will be very limited. I will likely run 33" tires (KO2s), so tire fit is not an issue. I know there are many threads on this subject, and what I am interested in is opinions of those of you who have a few months on a level or lift, what kit/product you have, and what you think. Has anyone had problems with stock UCA's yet or your after-markent UCA's? Any issues with handling? Anything I should beware of, stay away from, etc? Thanks in advance.
