2026 HEMI or Hurricane?

A friend of mine drives a loaded 1500 Laramie with a Hemi. We caught up last night and he was looking over my Rebel with the Hurricane. Forget about HP, Torque or anything else. He cut straight to the point with the most devastating insult. My truck sound like American V8 Muscle, yours sounds like a sewing machine on steroids. :ROFLMAO:

Lol, I have a buddy who's like that...he has a 2017 Rebel and I have no doubt that he would say something similar if I showed up with a Hurricane. But of course I wouldn't mind having one.

I heard they are doing a 10 year 100K warranty on the 2026. Not sure if that's only for the Hurricane, but if so, that would be a good reason to go with it.

Does the 2026 Hemi still have Etorque?

All Ram trucks (1500, 2500/3500) gas or diesel other than the RHO I believe.

I’m not seeing where Ram is excluding the RHO from the 10yr/100k power train warranty. Can you share where you read that it’s excluded? It has the same engine as the upper trim level models.

I can bet no one has seen this issue! 2026 Ram 1500 Hemi. 6340miles. Yes thats a piece of the broken valve cover, spring retainer/washer, and the top of a broken valve. Not under throttle when it happen... exiting the interstate and pretty sure it was going into eco/cylinder mode when it did it. Foot was off the throttle. Being towed to the dealer and getting a loaner.

If say that was a one off fluke where the valve retainers werent properly installed. Valve dropped, piston slammed it through the valve cover.

Valve tip broke clean across where the locks attach holding the retainer in place. Looks like a valve stem failure to me

Yeah, so like I said, probably a one off freak issue. If the valve itself broke then probably a manufacturing defect.
