Ram 1500 orders - Tell Us About Yours!

Here's my story from today's visit to a rural Ram dealership. They have the vehicle I want. 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten, Forged Blue Metallic, Towing Technology Group, Trailer-Tow Group, Off-Road Group, and Chrome Power-Fold Trailer Tow Mirrors. The MSRP is $93,145. Finding a Forged Blue Metallic has been challenging. They were willing to sell it for $82,995, which I felt was a little high. However, we reached an agreement on my trade as I negotiated up an additional $1K and then $1,500. The extra $500 though however was short-lived, as they magically tacked on $500 for VIN etching and leather protection, which I do not want and will not pay for. They stated their dealership charges this for every customer. I let them know I am not every customer, and I left, because having the power to walk away is powerful and freeing, as I tend to believe many people once they reach this far in the process will agree to almost anything. I was there for almost 2 hours. A lot of back and forth. A lot of waiting. Any suggestions on where I can find a similarly equipped vehicle nationwide? And price I should expect to pay?

While this dealer did not remove the "necessary" but unnecessary VIN etching and leather protection, which tacked on an additional $500.00, they were able "find" another $1000.00 discount for me through their dealership, which showed me that they wanted to sell this vehicle. And so, I am going to pick it up today. Very excited, as I had missed my 2019 Ram 1500 Limited. The air ride suspension and interior cabin (at that time) were like no other, and I feel good that I will have that again with this truck.

I’m happy you found something you like. I didn’t find anything else that I want. I’ll give it some time and see what happens.

Smart choice. It's out there for sure. Just continue to be patient and something will turn up to your liking!

I'm surprised dealers are still doing that etching thing. That's a gimmick from the past.

Looking forward to seeing some pics!

Two months went by after ordering a 2025 through the dealer. I had to re-order a 2026. Received an email from Ram within
a week confirming my order. I hadn't received one with the 2025. Doing a build with a 2026 on line the cost is higher with
the same options... Wait and see...

Just to add in my experience so far. I had a 2025 order that was both “confirmed” and then “scheduled”, but was ultimately never built; instead, it was converted into a 2026 order from Ram. At this point, the 2026 order is back in “scheduled” status.
