2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

It worked on mine. The seat belt warning light comes on then goes off but, every time you stop and then start to drive, the light comes on again. But it will go off in a few seconds.

It would be more helpful if you said what year your truck is and whether it has analog or digital instrument cluster.

Sorry. My profile name should have told you that. 2025 1500 Limited. Both digital or analog options to choose from.

My bad. I don't often look at user names. I just read the posts, mostly. And signature blocks when I am curious about more.

With a '25 Limited, you do not have analog gauges. You have a fully digital cluster. You can make it LOOK like analog gauges if you want, but that is not what was being discussed.

Hello all, first post on the site. Figured since I just bought my new 2025 RAM LoneStar edition...I would join the club! It had 5000 miles on it when I picked it up...no issues of note so far. (crossing my fingers!) The only thing I am monitoring is a small chirp or 'creak' when I apply the brakes at low speeds (only time I can hear it anyway with windows down). Brakes are fine, just makes a the sound for some reason. I am taking it in to dealership in a few weeks to have them take a quick look. I have no idea what could be causing it.

As you can see I had the running boards put in at dealership. I did get Billsteins on the front that leveled the truck. (up a tad over 2"). I also slapped on some Nitto Terra Grappler G3s (stock was 265/55R20s....I upgraded to 265/65R20) So added another 2-3 inches all around roughly. All weather floor mats from dealer as well. I just bought a Gator Hard tri-fold cover, came in last night. Will be putting that on as soon as it cools off a bit outside. Ceramic tint on all windows except Windshield. (These pics were before I got that)

Welcome! I’d like to recommend the Mopar splashguards. I installed them and they really do keep the side and rear much cleaner. My clay bar picks up much less nowadays

Nice to know!!! Will add it to the list. I am going to look into a Cat Back exhaust from Flowmaster or AWE...etc....but that will be a next year upgrade probably.

The splash guards are relatively easy to install. You need to drill 1 hole underneath and there are plastic rivets. If you don’t have a tool, there’s tons of youtubes on how to do the rivets without. I did.

Do all you guys who want this credit card key not carry house keys?

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see the need to do away with a keyfob that doesn't have to leave my pocket.

Guess I am just old school....but yeah I agree. My only gripe is I wish the keyfobs were a bit smaller...I know damn well they can make them smaller!! I just carry a house key, mail key, and key fob...easy peasy.

My Lonestar doesn't come with a bunch of the fancy upgrade things like credit card keys...etc...and honestly I am pretty ok with that...less **** that can go wrong!!! LOL

The key fob is big. Why carry it when I am GOING to have my phone anyway and it can do the same job?

I have a separate keychain with 3 keys on it (house, work, mailbox), so it is small. I often leave it in the center console when I’m out and about.

It would be nice to be “out” and only have my phone and wallet in my pockets.

Just hope your phone is not stolen or you drop it and it quits working. Or your phone gets an update and now it doesn't work right. Too many variables to cause issues and I wouldn't trust it.

I don't think the "credit card" was meant to be anything but an emergency means to get the truck going. I keep mine in the plastic and in my wallet for such "emergencies."

Now the digital key by phone was meant to allow you to completely forgo the FOB. The truck has been out 16 months, and here we wait >:(

That’s exactly what the digital key card is for- a backup to the phone as key fob.
