Fun little follow up to this. I got a notice that there is another update but I cannot actually install it because the screen is non-responsive. Wouldn’t be a big deal except EVERY SINGLE TIME I attempt to shut the truck off I get the notice that there’s an update and it restarts CarPlay even though the truck is off. Does pressing the middle left steering wheel control button (on the back) click the Update Now for you?
 
I have the same problem so i noticed if i park in my drive way even with key in metal box 25 feet away my lights would come off and on for no reason and approach lights were inconsistent. If i parked in street they would always work. Once your out for day or night they always work. ELECTRONICS ARE NOT AS GOOD PRE 2022. My trip a and b keep going back to 0 on me so annoying. Yesterday i got another gateway update 2 in 45 days.
 
I got an update 2 days ago. When it's doing the update, the radio stays on and keeps playing music. I just lowered the volume all the way and walked away from the truck. Came back a few hours later and everything went ok with the update, but I am not sure what the update was for.
 
all these updates and I've only had one so far since I bought the truck last November. I'm starting to feel left out!
 
9500 miles so far, no CEL.
City MPG avg: 15
Mixed driving avg: 18
HWY only avg: 21
I only use 91 octane.
Got a recall notice (Wrong tire inflation pressure in instrument panel cluster).
Will take it in later. The nucense (Uconnect requires service) has been popping up since week 1 randomly. Multiple trips to the dealer and many parts later has not fixed the issue.
Otherwise, overall happy. Shifting is still rough at times.
I do get a lot of condesation - water coming out of the mid and tail pipes, even after a 30 minute drive!

BTW: what is the OEM part number for the engine air filter? Web search is not clear on part number for 25 3L SO.

I was going to do a separate thread but will just summarize here ….

Bought a 2025 Big Horn in August. Nothing but trouble, including parking sensor errors, collision warning offline errors, towing disconnect errors, the blue screen of death, dead secondary battery, blown strut, etc. Spent 61 of the first 100 days in the shop, and Stellantis has agreed to buy it back …. after I filed a Lemon Lawsuit. Still waiting on surrender date/place. It also has disappearing coolant, but I haven’t bothered to have it addressed.

So ….. I liked the truck style enough that I bought a 2025 Laramie last month figuring my luck couldn’t be that bad twice. Got it home to find a puddle of coolant under it …. water pump. At first, I was told they were on back order for 45+ days and the new truck would sit. I about lost my mind. I was further told there were only three pumps in the country, and the dealers would not give them up. So, I cold-called one of those dealers myself (halfway across the country), and I got them to sell it. They shipped to my dealer (after some drama getting Stellantis to approve), and it’s all fixed now.

So …. I just hit 1000 miles on the new truck, and so far all good (water pump aside). It’s got a ton of options but, so far, everything works.

Interestingly, the Big Horn with the 20” wheels and cloth seats rides smoother; very much like driving a couch. The Laramie with the 22” rims and stiffer leather seats feels more like a truck …. albeit a very nice truck.

With both trucks, I dropped the oil at 1000 miles and it looked perfect.

You get less side wall with the 22s, so it makes sense it won’t be as cushy. Glad to hear you’ve had relatively good luck with the new one.

I wonder what happens when I don’t click install (because I can’t)? Will it just install itself? I sure hope so!IMG_3351.jpeg

For reference, it was previously suggesting I install the update. Now it’s saying it “needs to be” installed.

Was wondering.if there's a thread with posts on screen setups, like photos of how other people have their screens setup, you know how it allows you to setup your favorites and add apps and maps screens I haven't really messed with that wanted to take a look at how others have their setup so I can copy them😂🤣 lol but for real tho🤔🤨 anyone?

I just popped the hood, the coolant and the little coolant tank for the turbos are below min. level.
Taking her in next Monday for a few nuances --

Still have a question: what is the OEM air filter # for the 3-liter SO?

Google search - even at many Mopar sites does not return any P#s for the air filter.
