Got it. Hard to judge the size from the pic. Those are cool dogs, saw one recently. Definitely not a dog someone is going to want to mess with.

My dad passed away Monday night, F* Cancer. We adopted his dog Shasta. She's a Samoyed.

This was when she finally started to settle down and relax. I know it will take her at least a few weeks to get used to the insanity going on at our house with 2 adults, 3 kids, 2 other dogs.

Sorry for your loss. Good on you for adopting Shasta. It could take up to a few moths for her to fully adapt the her new home/environment. Just be patient. A few kids and dogs definitely add an entirely different dynamic.

We had to put our dog down Tuesday morning. Emergency vet thinks it was brain swelling from a tumor or something. He went from being a perfectly normal dog not even a month ago, to acting like he was in pain. Initial vet visit we all thought he had hurt himself running and barking at other dogs in back yard. Pain meds and muscle relaxer didn't help. Stopped giving him the muscle relaxers and codeine, he got a little better. Then Monday night he had a seizure. Then was back to acting like he did before seizure. Was going to take to vet Tuesday morning to get checked out, but overnight he got bad fast. Was howling and unable to stand up. I've never heard this dog howl before. And it was constant. Told the wife to wake up her son and have him go with because I was pretty sure it was going to be a one way trip for the dog. And it was.

Sorry as hell to hear that. My biggest fear is something happening to either of our two girls.

Will pick him up in July, but this is the new pup to replace our 12 yo we had to put down earlier this month. Haven't decided on a name yet. For now it's Forde, but that's obviously gotta change.

Picked up the new puppy today. Didn't get pics in the truck, but did take the RAM to pick him up. Wheaten Terrier. His name is Finn. He will turn slowly tuennto solid white by age 2
