5 years. But you have to hand wash. Not possible for me in minnesota in the winter. So I’m getting is as an extra level of detailing, maybe some paint correction. How many years of protection?

He tells me which product it is I just can’t remember. And obviously if you’re in New York or Minnesota the warrant is not worth anything. So I knew all that. I’m still not mad at the offer.if they'd advertise what their ceramic coating and ppf covered and durability...they'd probably sell more of it
The sides of the bed, about 4 inches down and then all the way to the back. The front of the hood the front of the fenders and then the top portion of the front bumperso what all gets the PPF?
If I close it normally it has those huge gaps if I slam it close it’s a lot less but still has the gaps on each side, just not as muchTo me, that tailgate almost looks like it’s not fully closed. I have to slam mine pretty hard to fully close.
Not to understate the frustration level of getting a scratched vehicle, but this appears to be a shallow one in the clear coat. It should be cleared up with a compound and polish. Probably take the dealership an hour to fix. Finally stopped raining and the sun came out and on my first stop found this huge scratch on the driver back door. Did not see this at all when the truck was wet. That kinda ruins my day. Have to send that to Aaron to see what they say.
The center of the scratch looks like it went all the way through the paint. I’ll show it to the detail department at my job and see what they say about it if anything I’ll pay them to fix it see what MD says. I know it’s kind of hard to put blame on them after I’ve already left. Just wish I could’ve seen the truck at the dealer when it was dry but since it was pouring rain was almost virtually impossible. Not to understate the frustration level of getting a scratched vehicle, but this appears to be a shallow one in the clear coat. My approach to MFT was to close it from the lower half of the tail gate and use the momentum of the door. You don’t want to habitually slam it as I think that caused my door to fall of alignment and rub against each other. The door eventually wears in.If I close it normally it has those huge gaps if I slam it close it’s a lot less but still has the gaps on each side, just not as much
that sucks man, sorry to hear it. If it went through to the paint, you're looking at a much bigger job. Sorry! The center of the scratch looks like it went all the way through the paint. He doesn’t list MFT in his sig. I was assuming normal tailgate. Mine had a similar gap when I picked it up, but the tailgate just wasn’t fully closed. It takes a pretty good shove to fully latch it.My approach to MFT was to close it from the lower half of the tail gate and use the momentum of the door. When I test drove a half ton limited locally, the salesman struggle shutting the tailgate. It wasn’t MFT. He kept slamming shut and eventually it did.He doesn’t list MFT in his sig. Yeah it’s just a regular tailgate. I did notice that if I close it without any force it has the huge gaps in there. If I close it with a little more force then the gaps go away this is what it looks like with a little more force. Looks pretty much like my 21 did. I don’t ever remember my 21 having this issue though. You would think Ram could make the tailgate close flush. He doesn’t list MFT in his sig. I was assuming normal tailgate. Not gonna cry over spilled milk. I understand **** happens. I did speak to Aaron and he said he would take care of it. Very stand up guy. Told him I would let my detail department at my job look at it either tomorrow or Monday and see what they say. If they can easily fix it then no big deal. If not then I’ll go from there.that sucks man, sorry to hear it. If it went through to the paint, you're looking at a much bigger job. Sorry!
You really can tell the guy is genuine. And he’s like “we wanna make sure things are 100%, and when they’re not we wanna make sure you’re happy”Not gonna cry over spilled milk.
