Ok cool thanks.
What is the “signature” option?
Is there a obd setting to keep them amber all the time? When I turn my headlights on now they change from amber back to white.
Signature lighting is the upper and lower white strip that is dimly lit during the day when the headlights are not on. Some people refer to them as “halos” (I have no clue why, because they are not rings around projectors). These are a completely different feature than DRLs. You have the turn signals set as DRLs, which are only powered on during the day when the headlights are off. When the headlights come on, the DRL circuit switches off (because they are not needed anymore), hence the reason they change into their normal white parking lights. There’s no way for them to behave like you are wanting them to without doing some wiring with some diodes.

I ordered a set of the Oracle accents and threw in a set of the demon eyes since I was gonna have the housings open anyways. $387 for everything including the BT controller and a tube of silicone to seal them back up with.

So stoked for these!

That pic is off their website and is a TRX and Oracle sells the flush lower light as well.

I hope it looks as good on a pearl white limited.

I hear you there and that is a major concern for me as well. I spent the day on eBay shopping for a set of spare housings and mil spec bulkhead fittings so I can make them as watertight as possible and then keep my original lights intact for later.

I'm the same way.
I've opened too many phones with heat guns and broke the screens to know there's no way I can open anything that requires heat.
Luckily I have around 60 cell phones (all lost and found ones LOL) to practice a lot.

I haven't gotten an estimate done just yet but Oracle will do the install for you. Professional Installation Services | ORACLE Lighting

I have my new led headlights and still debating on if I want to go ahead and get this done or leave them oem.
Definitely let us know if you end uo getting an estimate. I bet it's going to be several times more then the part. Do you need to mail in the entire assembly?

The more I look at the prices of OEM housings, the less I'm interested in drilling or cracking mine open. Yikes, what have I gotten myself into!

If the construction is not identical, then the knowledge gained will be irrelevant.

If you don't have the correct cold-glue tools to remove the housings then I wouldn't recommend trying this on your own. Ram uses permaseal on their headlights and that does not heat up and separate like butyl rubber sealant. Not a great set of headlights for a first timer. Your other option is to cut them open like RetroShop does. If you search I did a short write up on replacing the LED boards on the midline headlights. The highline headlights are almost identical.

I'll check it out. The basic tool set is only $80 on Amazon.

I was just notified that everything is on back order so I have some time.
I'm honestly thinking of just cancelling the order and doing something far more responsible with the money.
