n8dog - kind of a clunky rattle noise?

It could be the sway bar end links. pretty sure that's my current issue... they were loose about 14 months back and clunking/ and rattling more as they loosened - dealer refused to acknowledge and independent shop found it immediately and tightened to spec - over time noise came back - the links / bushings are known to be subpar and many report needing to replace by 25k miles (I have 27k now) - mine are currently re- tightened up but a clunky rattle on bumpy roads at slower speeds ... going to replace the links and see if that solves as once again the independent shop believes they are the culprit and couldn't find anything else "loose" - dealer just shrugs shoulders..
Yes that’s how I would describe it.

What is the approximate overall height with the AD lift installed? Thanking about going this direction on my '21 Limited Longhorn. I'll also be adding 275/65/20 directly afterwards, looking at the Recon Grapplers. I was going to do the Carli Commuter when it comes out but would need new offset wheels, do to Carli upper A arms geometry, but I really like the factory wheels on this truck.
You should get about 4” from stock

I think I'm going to have to look seriously at this. I thought the ORP would be sufficient, but I'm getting outrun by raptors and trxs quite a bit. Does this Mopar/Fox shock give me any more off road ride quality dampening? Travel increase? I know the lift is necessary for 34-35" tire clearance as well. Is there a high speed off road middle option between a lift with stock boingy shocks and long travel trx with great dampening? We're not racing, but I'd like to keep up at a sporting pace. Thanks for recommendations.

Just looked at Carli, little bit too pricey for the 2.5 performance series.

Got quotes for the Mopar 2” lift from 2 dealerships today. One was $2300 and the other was $2200.

I’d prefer to have the work done at a dealership but I’m pretty sure I could purchase it for $1300-$1400 and have it installed at a local reputable shop for several hundred less than what the dealership is charging. I’m not in a rush so I may call around to a few other dealerships and see if any of the them give me a better price, but I’m not holding my breath.

I would get it done at Ram dealership so you will not void any warranty (Drivetrain, suspension, etc). 2200 is not bad if that includes lift purchase and install.

It won't be level. It's going to have rake. But, with the ORP springs the Height/body lines of the hood and front end might make it look nose high. Here's mine with no ORP springs. Imo it looks perfect, with a 34/35 inch tire you'll get 4+" roughly of new height.
Any rubbing on the front splash guards with 34” tire?

Anyone else’s shocks seem a little noisy going over bumps? Hard to describe but it makes sort of a bouncing/wobbly sound more noticeable at lower speeds. Had it rechecked to make sure everything was tight and it was. Wife thinks it’s just coming from the driver front. I’m too old to tell but she may be right.
I just had the 2" lift kit (AD) installed on my 2020 Ram 1500 Longhorn and it is making a real loud popping noise when accelerating or braking. The noise started just 2 days after initial installation and roughly 100 miles. Dealer can't get me in to evaluate until next week and local shop said they couldn't find anything wrong. I specifically told them to check/tighten the sway bar end links. Hopefully next week the dealer can find the culprit and correct it...

Looks good! Where exactly is the popping sound coming from? Front end? Rear end?

I honestly can't tell. It almost sounds like it is coming from the center, but I know that can't be right. Definitely not anything driveline related because it doesn't do it when shifting and truck only has 27,000 miles. It primarily does it when accelerating/braking as if something is shifting forward and backward. Sometimes it will do it when I go over a large bump with the rear end.

Yeah drive line was my initial thought since it was only during acceleration and braking. Hopefully the dealership will find something.

I wanted the warrantied work and parts since I am off-road and in the mud often—so I chose the 2” Mopar. But in the rear I swapped the 2” puck and Fox shocks for 1” Daystar and 0-1.5” Bilstein 5160. 35x12.5R20 BFG KO2 on oem rims. No rubbing. View attachment 64047
Thanks to jdangel2 for the pics & info. Just got my ‘22 Longhorn with ORP yesterday evening, did almost the same thing he did: AC Mopar lift, but replaced the rear 2” block with the 1” Daystar blocks. Truck looks amazing with 35x11.5 on stock 20” rims.

Nope, just the Mopar 2”lift kit (AD) and BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM3 tires size 295/60/R20. I think I probably could have gone with 35’s but didn’t want to chance anything rubbing.

Over the last few weeks I’ve talked myself in/out of doing this one million (insert Dr. Evil finger quotes) times. I know where this leads …I’m a recovering Jeep build addict. But I NEEDS bigger tires!!!!!

Listen dude. I was in the same boat for like 4 months. Yes I want it and I have the money to do it. Then I was like no I don’t need it and truck drives great. Ultimately I did it and yes I had dealership installed it and even had them mount tires and balance and alignment so there is no issues later on that I voided mopar 7 year 999,00 mile warranty I purchased from moPar protection (MVP) I’m so happy I did it cause really it does drive the same as stock if not even a little better. Truck drives straight and looks amazing. These trucks should come out of factory with this height and look.
