What good is blinding everyone else on the road. PLEASE use them only off road.
Looks like he got the SAE/DOT approved ones, so as long as he aims them correctly he won't blind anyone.

The idiots that just put the $30 Amazon cubes in their fog lights and don't aim them are the ones we need to castrate. Too many of them around where I live.

So do the pods go in the existing plastic fog light bezel?
You unplug the factory wire going into your OEM fog light. Remove 3 screws that hold the OEM light to the bumper, then replace it with the new light.

The light is universal but the brackets are not. The brackets are made to exactly replace the OEM bracket. So you need to order the fog light for your truck, then you assemble the bracket onto the new light using 2 Allen screws. Then to place the new fog light into the bumper, put back the 3 screws and plug in your wire. 100% plug and play, no mods. Takes longer to reach down and remove the lower fender liner than to replace the light.

To adjust the light on the bracket you have a Allen screw on each side. You adjust the light so it shines below your head lights and then you tighten the 2 Allen screws that holds the light to the bracket. I adjusted my lights on the face of the garage door sitting about 60' back. I double checked the lights aim that it won't shine into my wife's car windshield parked near the house. I can't blind any car on the road. My lights are aimed correctly.

Driving down the road is now an incredible experience. I have nearly 180 degrees of light in front of me. It lights the edges of the road so any animals attempting to cross you can easily see.
With my Ram with the fog lights off, as you turn the fog light will act like a turning light. So each fog light goes on as you change direction. These lights are simply awesome lights. Beautiful crisp white light. When you drive with LED's you will never drive with halogens ever again.

Yes these are the PRO lights. They are 100% DOT approved lights. They are adjusted correctly.

The off road light on my truck is for traveling on back roads where there are deer and other animals on a very dark snake road. I travel from work after midnight every night and I don't want to hit a deer. Water on 1 side of the road, woods on the other makes for a very dangerous commute every night.

Rough country makes a bracket to hide that light bare behind your grill

I checked out the Rough Country bracket. The price is $300 plus another $50 for the proper grill insert that I will need.
What I like it's protected, but how do you ever wash the light from salt and road grime? It will take a few hours to install plus it's a pain to adjust if your aim is off.
What I have on the truck now is a license plate bracket. Installation was 30 minutes and it's solid. The light is fully serviceable without crawling under it (providing no one crashes into it). I will pass on that bracket for now. Maybe if this one craps out I will reconsider.

That and big lifts without re-aiming. Bad enough in a pickup, but totally blinding in a smaller/lower car. Rigs pulling trailers that aren't properly setup are also a killer. Wish guys would do the homework and stop being clueless. Unless, of course they got one for Christmas 🤶😁

I would assume 40% of people with aftermarket lights blind the crap out of us. Sometimes they are clueless. Other times most likely high on crack or don't care. I was a kid once, but now I should know better.

Solid. That fogs only looks about what my OEM LED's look like. A little more down the road and less to the sides, but I prefer having the side lighting honestly.

You could drive the truck slowly with only the fogs on if you needed to.
It's also cool now when I have them off but turn the wheel to change direction or throw a blinker on they light up as turning lights. Gives the truck a Cadillac feel. With the other fogs on the truck I never noticed. That's how bad the former lights were.

I ordered the diode dynamics kit for my led equipped truck. I know I have to get the bezels for a non led truck. Does anyone make an adapter from the stock fog wiring to diode dynamics? If not I can wire them to a switch box I already installed.

Thanks Mopar_maxi and ferraiolo1 I just finished installing the Diode Dynamics SS3 PRO.
Beautiful lights. I can now see finally. Been driving the truck with crappy fog lights for a few months, but today It's fixed!

Went with the SS3 Max in amber myself. Best lights on the market! US made products and the BEST customer service!

I contacted DD today asking about wiring/plugs for factory LED equipped trucks. They said it looks like their kit will work for us too. I’m going to order a set of SS3 max in clear SAE fog ASAP. We also need to get the halogen fog bracket along with the halogen bezel.
It’s only about $40 in parts.

I too ordered the DD LED pods for my non-led fog lights. Just waiting to install them when I install the 2" Motofab lift so I can aim the lights properly. Thanks again all that suggested them. A little pricey but word of mouth and pictures above show they are worth it.

You sir, suck! Here I was going to be all fine and stuff with the stock LED fog lights and here you come with this BS that I can upgrade them! UGH! LOL

I was going to replace the lower grill and install the set of DD pods I have but now I may do this instead, or maybe in addition to. :D
