Yea I used to work for them. I flew them and Mike fixed them when we broke them. Have quite a few hours in 487LF.

I’m atc (jfk approach)…between all the medevacs and the millionaire taxi service between nyc and the Hamptons we talk to a TON of helos. You rotor jockeys are the best to work with…everything is in sight, no bu11sh1t, always concise and know exactly how the get the job done. Always a pleasure.

Met up with securityguy yesterday. Great guy, to say the least. He was generous enough to take time out of his day to help me (and by "help me", I mean he did literally everything, while I held the spare parts) hardwire in my Uniden R7. Not only was he kind enough to do this, but he did an amazingly clean install, too.

Thanks again, Larry!!! Very much appreciated, and if there is anything I can ever do to return the favor, you have my #

Got my Chinese Amazon tonneau put on last night. Fits really well and looks well made for $219. The provided extra replacement clamps if needed, and a bulkhead seal for the front of the box. Drove to hockey practice in the rain last night, box was bone dry. They threw in a sticky puck light too for the bed ha.

That looks really good and you kept some money in your wallet compared to the price of the Bakflip.

RE: Dewalt DCF899 ... I have that and also the DCF894 (medium 1/2") and DCF902 (small 3/8" 12v). That 899 is definitely a beast, but when I started out, I found out real quick that I needed something more compact for those tight hard to reach places. Unfortunately, Dewalt never came out with anything like the Milwaukee stubby impact wrenches. I was too much invested in the Dewalt eco system to buy a single Milwaukee tool.

I believe Dewalt came out with the DCF901 - 12v 1/2" 400ft/lbs breakaway torque. That's as close to a stubby that I can get with Dewalt.

EDIT: I just did a quick search. Dewalt came out with a DCF911. It's exactly the same as the DCF901 but it's a 20v instead of the 12v. I'll just have to wait for a sale.
Yeah, I get the need for a stubby impact.

Below are some pictures of my pneumatic impact compared to this brushless 20 V impact. The 20 V impact is supposed to have 1200 foot pounds of max breakaway torque, which is a necessity to me, because inevitably, The actual breakaway torque won’t come near that, but it can approach being comparable to a 1/2” pneumatic impact.

as far as sizing, I’m very happy with the size of the brushless compared to my composite pneumatic impact. (The red one in the pics)

Does the quality of the audio sound the same while using this as is does when directly plugged in via USB, or does it have the same diminished quality that the audio has over bluetooth?
Sounds the same as Bluetooth IMO. It's great for local around town trips but for longer trip, went on a 1 1/2 trip using Google maps and streaming Audible, kills the phone battery and wireless charging can't keep up so a wired connection is best. I'll still keep for around town though.

So I did a thing yesterday. Gave up on waiting for my 2022 order, and got this 2021 sucker at right around invoice.

I'm pleased with it. Now I need to make it my own.
