What did you do to your Ram today???

Anyone have a pic of stock truck w/ 295/60r20 AT's on stock rims? Got a billet silver 22 3500 night edition on order. After running 37's on my past two HD's I'm leaning toward this size for the new rig. Thx in advance
Here you go.

Obligatory, didnt happen today.

Dropped down to 3 grill lights to match the rears and replaced the clear lights with smoked one.

Nice! Where did you get the 3 lights for front & back?

Took the Rebel off-roading up to Yankee Boy Basin at the base of Mount Sneffels (Elevation 14,150 ft.), Colorado for the day.

Good time of year to enjoy the San Juans. Heading down there myself next week.

It's nice to see a dirty truck out doing some real truck stuff! Seen too many other pics of polished trucks on 22s sitting in a driveway....

Hey Everyone! Did my 2nd grille swap and I don't know if i made the right decision. Originally had a chrome bighorn and have wrapped everything in black and installed a black LED lettering grille. I kept getting water inside the LED letters and having to replace so i decided to swap the grille. I found a WHITE grille on fb marketplace for cheap that i cleaned up and installed along with the 6 inch rough country grille LEDs. I liked the all black front, but I kind of like the contrast of a white grille with black trim pieces? Oh also i swapped the headlights to OEM night edtion.

whatever picture 3.jpg is i like that better than 1.jpg. haha not that it matters at all what I like about YOUR truck. keep tweaking it till you look back at it when you park and are walking away.

Like Vinnie, I prefer 2 and 3 over 1 and 4, though the light up Ram logo and trim pieces are pretty cool.

As he said, your preference obviously trumps ours.

Your timing should be perfect! The Aspen colors were just starting to change now. We usually catch them each fall but went a little earlier this year. Should be beautiful by time you get there!

Yeah, I built my rig so that I can do more back country exploration in the mountains and deserts; really cool to be one of the limited few that can actually get to such places in comfort (without hiking 20 miles...lol). Yankee Boy Basin is pretty accessible though for most 4x4 vehicles with maybe only 2-3 rough sections (any 4x4 with good tires make it a none issue...even saw a couple of fitted Subaru cars up to a point). We turned around once we hit the warning sign "high clearance, short wheelbase 4wd vehicles only" on the way up to Mt. Sneffels; I have the clearance and tires but not the short wheelbase obviously...lol. I just didn't want to risk it especially after beating my wife up on the lower sections to Engineer Pass a few weeks ago.

I like how your photo sequence tells the story.
My chainsaw has a shorter bar for around the house cuts, but I've taken down a few trees before. Nothing of the diameter you cut there. My question is, how do you keep the chain sharp? With as many cuts as it took to fill the bed of your truck, my chain would've been DULL!
Older post/question, but just in case Desert Dawg's answer wasn't what you were looking for.... There are lots of great ways to keep a chain sharp. I've got 8 acres of coniferous forest so I am constantly cutting down trees. They grow like crazy. Even if you aren't very handy, try out the Stihl 2-in-1 chain sharpener. I used to rotate through two chains as they got dull. Now I sharpen them myself onsite and it is super easy, and only takes about 5-10 minutes.

Installed Rough Country grill lights.... ordered a gang switch box with panel that will be here Tuesday then I can wire them up.
Those lights look great. I'm thinking about ordering a set as well. Do you need to purchase a switch in order for them to work? If not, how can the lights be controlled?

I bought a street guardian dual-dashcam setup and was all excited to install it until I started tearing things apart and then read the mounting pads’ adhesive is supposed to sit for 3 days to cure before adding the cameras.

Ditto on the 2 in 1. Takes most of the guess work out of it. Takes the rakers down as well

Have you ever wondered how hot your truck bed gets with a cover? No, of course you haven’t, but I did. So I put a Govee thermometer/hygrometer in the bed, left it covered for most of the day, then opened the cover.

At the time I opened the cover, the ambient temperature was 79°F. The reading inside the bed was 96°. After opening the cover, the temperature dropped to about 88°.

This was on a partly cloudy to overcast day in the north Atlanta ‘burbs. The cover is a RetraxPro XR, and the bed has the factory spray in liner; both cover and liner are black. The truck is parked outside.
