Ordering a Laramie with the ORG and dealer is telling me 3.92 rear is required now with that group. This is news to me as I prefer 3.21 for the 90% of the time I’m just towing air. Anyone else trying to order off road group getting the same message from their dealer?

ya there is a disconnect I understand the production perfectly.

you or someone else said the 21's were done sunday.
then they started on the 22's right away because you do not want assembly workers standing around
based on that no will see a 22 until tuesday (48 hours) night but someone else has already said 22 have been completed.

maybe i am not explaining it correct but i do understand production what has been posted here makes no since.
either 22's are completed or they are not.
There are 21s running down the line. While those are finishing the 48 hours down the line, the 22s have started at the beginning. There more than likely isn't any downtime between the two (or very little). This is not a major model year change. For the most part, the assembly line workers wouldn't know if its a 21 or a 22 coming down the line. Most of the changes are software changes done inside the vehicle ECUs/radio/etc.

I think of SHAP as a playdough machine. The 2022 is just them adding green playdough to the blue that's already in there.

I did not on my Limited but my order was accepted back on June 21st.

My $100 tread lightly membership will save me $7k
He's referring to Mark dodge and Select dealers that already offer 5% below invoice, better than preffered pricing. they give you a little extra. the discount they give is bigger than what tread lightly would total. so the 500 just sweetens the deal and is almost another 1% more off.

I heard it goes quicker if you check every 8 to 14 seconds. Better yet, if you go buy a costume moustache and a set of coveralls with "RAM" written in sharpie on the front, you could sneak into the plant and get the truck built yourself.
lol... Unfortunately they have snazzy RAM jumpsuits so I'd have to up my game from the sharpie.

I am checking about every hour if only to break away from my mundane activities also know as work.

Yeah, it all takes me from an MRSP of $72,980 to $63,114 including doc fee/temp tag/notary fee from MD. In this market, I'll freaking take nearly 10K off. I'm not expecting any other Manufacturer Rebates either.

Luckly! I wish I knew about the volume dealers all I am getting is 1% from the FCA discount.

I'm blessed to be in a position to pay cash and I felt obligated to make sure I was getting the best price possible. I did a ton of research, and luckily someone else on another forum redirected me to this thread. You might still come out on top if you cancel your order, lose the deposit and order again through MD or another volume dealership. I'm looking at my POC right now and the difference between 1% below invoice and my pricing (with the extra $500 off) is $3150.66. I'll spend about $400 on a flight and I'm budgeting $100 on a tank of gas so I'm saving over $2600 by doing a fly and drive (it's about 8 hours home) over dealing with a local dealership, which none of I'm confident would actually honor that affiliate discount in the end...unfortunately.

If for some reason I need a nap since all the flights out of Birmingham put me at MD in the early afternoon at the earliest, well, that's what Wal-Mart parking lots are for 😛
