Excellent point. I second this advice. I experienced another dealer that was willing to deal on $500 refundable. What is the point of a deposit if it is refundable? They should be refundable if the vehicle is changed, but otherwise, I'm guessing that the dealer wants us to have some skin in...

There are a LOT of orders ahead of you. It will be a while before they start production on yours. When I ordered last week, Sandi from Mark Dodge was expecting 14-16 weeks for delivery...so end of November.

See the link above in my post #10,103. That's the working assumption on production/delivery. Yours will be somewhere at the tail-end of that timeline.

When I try my existing VIN on the Canadian Window sticker site I don't get any result...maybe I've been bumped but my dealer hasn't given me any update. What dealer are you guys with? I ordered from Peel in Mississauga.

Keep the faith. I got my truck there too and the vin won’t bring up the window sticker until final stages. Did you get your build sheet already?

That sucks. But I guess you were one of the last 2021 orders, so you're one of the last ones out the door. Aug 25 is allegedly into the 2022 production dates, but I suppose it makes sense. They'll start yours a few days earlier, and "ship" it out of the factory on 8/25.

Got my vin today. Last 6 is 150458. And I learned my order was actually placed on 8/3. I thought it was a couple days earlier.

Are you sure your VIN isn't 127692?
Orders from a week before you were in the 122000-123000 range. If the VINs have jumped to 147000, then something REALLY strange has happened.

Sorry, bud. I’m not tracking HD (4th Gen) trucks. You’re on a different timeline, and to be honest I don’t even think those are made in the same factory. You might try the sister site HD Rams.
